Day 2 was NOTHING like Day 1.

Seriously. It was a day I will never ever forget.

A bit of bad news, I could not see Jeremy Renner. I wanted to and get a closer look at his autograph booth, but sadly they changed his signing time to a time that occurred during my volunteer shift at the Will Call booth, and he did not do a Q&A. Sad news, but that's what happens when you bring in a really popular celebrity!

BUT ANYWAYS, woke up at 5 am again, and got there bright and early around 7:30 am. Volunteer coordinator said it was fine for me to start my shift 1/2 hour early and leave earlier than my required shift (as long as I do 4 hours, I'm good). At around 9:30 when the lines started to pick up really crazily, my boyfriend texted me saying that he caught the "con crud", meaning he got sick. :( He still wanted to go to the con, but I encouraged him to stay home to take it easy and that I'll be fine on my own (brony group is hosting panels and was planning to attend them anyways), but he decided to be a dork and came anyways. Only because he didn't want me to be lonely.

Saturday turned out to be a big day. I gave out soooo many Saturday admission passes and people were buying 3 day passes like hot bread. Finished my shift at 12 sharp and met up with the bf at Artist's Alley afterwards. We looked around a few art booths, and was actually considering getting someone to commission a Meganium art piece. It's so tempting. Meganium is such an underrated Pokemon and it's my absolute favorite. I'll be going back on Sunday to ask around, and see if their price range fits my con budget. :P

One of my favorite cosplays I've seen in the con was Zero Suit Samus. The person who did her cosplay was freaking amazing.

Spoiler:

There was another person that I saw who was dressed as humanized Princess Celestia, but I could not find her again so I could take a picture! The wings and the hair were absolutely perfect!

After we rested from our walk around the giant convention center, my phone went off reminding me of Peter Mayhew's Q&A session. For those who don't know, he's the actor who gave life to Chewbacca from the Star Wars movies. My boyfriend and I are big fans of Star Wars, so we decided to go in. We were greeted by a bunch of Stormtroopers that lead us inside the panel room. And the panel started with Stormtroopers leading Peter Mayhew inside the building. The crowd went wild.

Getting up close with a legend was amazing! It was nice to hear his thoughts about filming the Star Wars movies. :3

So, we then went to the Dealers Room to look at the newest booths that weren't there on Friday. I saw one booth that were selling Pokemon plushies of almost 65% of the whole Pokemon list. I then noticed one booth selling Pokemon plushie slippers. It had many Pokemon to choose from, including the Eeveelutions and most of the Starters. $25 for a pair. Quite honestly, I was planning to buy them...but I was holding them off. I ended up looking at another booth across from them, when I lost sight of the bf. I almost texted him with a "where did you go?", and he ended up appearing right behind me...with a pair of Sylveon slippers he bought...just for me. I wanted to cry, but I realized I was in public and didn't want to cause a scene. He is the best.

Spoiler:

Laurie Holden's Q&A panel wasn't until 5 pm, and we had roughly 2 hours to spare. We went ahead and grabbed some con grub, only for the bf to get a message from his mom. She got car trouble at her house, so he had to go and help. He didn't want to leave me behind, but he wants me to have as much fun as possible. I ended up going to the Q&A panel on my own.

OH BTW, FOR ALL YALL WALKING DEAD FANS, YES IT'S THE SAME LAURIE HOLDEN WHO PLAYED ANDREA. She is literally the most nicest woman ever. <3333

My plan was to head on home after the panel and another walk around Artists Alley and the Autograph booths. The bf texts me about meeting up at a restaurant in Downtown for dinner. I gladly accepted, and ended up leaving the con to catch up with him. Before I left, I bought a giant picture of Jeremy Renner (if only I had money to throw at so I could get is FREAKING AUTOGRAPH), and an art piece of the Eeveelutions.

I would have stayed for the con party, but then again...I woke up at 5 am...with very little sleep! Sunday will be an easy day. I have an afternoon shift at the Registration booth, so I don't have to get to the convention center very early like Friday and Today. However, Stan Lee's Q&A panel will be at 12:30, so I'll be making it to that. So at least 10:30-11 am is my target time.

Man, I am beat. Day 2 was fantastic. I may also be catching "con crud" from the bf but I ain't letting that stop me from having fun for the next two days that remain at the con! Bring it!
