An Ode To Zeffy, Omicron, and Pepperton (Milky Chance, Channelate, Scrubs) [Daily Bloggity Entry #130]

So yes, I know that this may be a little bit late and a tad overdue, but I wanted to dedicate this blog entry to three fine young men that have had some big, exciting news come to them. If you haven't already heard of this news that I am currently talking about, I am of course referring to three new promotions that rapidly came to PokeCommunity: Zeffy has become a partner alongside awolffromspace in the Battling & Team Building section of PC, Omicron has finally been promoted up to a staff member of the Battle Server, and Pepperton has been declared the first Moderator of Omega Ruby & Alpha Sapphire! So, to congratulate these three awesome happenstances to three good friends of mine, I wanted to dedicate this blog entry to how friggin' amazing these members are.

Zeffy: Zeffy, you are one chill dude. We've known each other for awhile now through the Battle Server, but I don't think I ever really personally started talking to you until Get-Together through the Minecraft Server. Those times we spent in the server building our respective houses - did you end up finishing your tower by the way? - were probably some of the most fun times in awhile I've spent playing video games with friends. I'm also glad that you're able to put up with a lot of dumb stuff that I do on the Battle server, and I'm very happy to see that your battling skills has finally been recognized to the point where you get a Moderator position out of it. You should realize that means that by getting this position that you are one of the most respected battlers out there, and I couldn't agree more with that idea. Keep up the great work mate; I can't wait to see what you can bring the team!

Omicron: Man, where do I even start with you. Like Zeffy, I met you through the Battle Server (as well as I believe a Supportership Mafia game, if I recall) so you can probably see where I'm going with this. You were one of the people who helped teach me how to battle on a competitive level - now help me with my sore loser streak *cough cough* - and I've always vouched for you that I thought you should become a member of staff, whether through the Battle Server or on PC. On top of your insane battling skills, you've also got an amazing taste for music which is why I had enlisted you to be a part of my Underground Tuesday segments for my blog. Don't let this be the end for you though; I still believe you've got a lot of untapped potential when it comes to contributing to this site in general. I would like to see you become a Moderator on PC at some point, so keep following your passions and hopefully one day this goal of mine - and hopefully yours - will come to fruition.

Pepperton: Oh, it's you (; Geez, this has been a long time coming, eh? You've already found the post I made about you, so you know that I was a big fan of what you've done for PC prior to you being modded. You honestly reminded me a little bit of myself before my Moderator days when it comes to just being an overall well-rounded member when it comes to this site. You've got a lot of spunk and a good, positive attitude when it comes to interacting with other members - which is always a great thing! - and the fact that you got modded to a section that has never had a Moderator before shows that staff has complete confidence in you to grab that section by the horns and steer it in the right direction. But on top of all of that, you're just a swell guy to chat to. This Chocolate Bear has this Vanilla Bear's back no matter what, and I'm ecstatic to see that all of your hard work has finally begun to pay off. Just don't let it stop there. Like Omicron, I expect great things out of you. Continue being you and who knows what kind of contributions you can make here.

...that was a Scrubs reference for anyone who didn't know with that Chocolate/Vanilla Bear thing...because we both like Scrubs...yeah, I'll just show myself out now...
