    I also do.
I, currently, have a Dell that does day to day jobs for me, but nothing too serious.

I will be getting a Macbook Pro soon.

Yeah, I have a netbook--an MSI Wind. n_n I got it early last year when my previous laptop (a graduation gift) stopped picking up wifi signals which... was kind of essential as a university student. :/ I'm so immensely happy with my netbook. It makes more sense than a laptop for me because I can fit it easily into my bag when I head to classes or go home for the weekend since it's so small in size/weight. And it's still a good enough computer that, aside from the screen resolution (augh, 1024x600 xD), I feel very comfortable using it.

I guess I technically have my old laptop too but it's a huge paperweight. :(

Nope, not yet. I'll almost definately be getting one for college (let's face it, you need access to one, at the very least), so that's what I'm saving up for right now.

I have a netbook, and I love it.

Even though my phone is slowly replacing whatever my netbook was used for, I still love it.

Yup, I just got a MacBook Pro as a graduation gift since it's almost become a necessity to have a laptop as a university student.

    Specs:
    2.4GHz Core 2 Duo
    4GB 1067MHz DDR3 RAM
    250 GB HDD
    Nvidia GeForce 320M 256MB Graphics

I've also got an iMac however that is not so great for carry around. xD

Yup. I got a new one just last month. I was talking with my dad about a graduation/birthday present and how my laptop was holding up, and somehow the conversation turned into a 'let's get you a new laptop'. Pretty awesome, as I was being modest and just simply asking for a new DS Lite.

Yeah, and it's a piece of junk, I tell ya - a 3-year-old HP Pavilion "Entertainment PC" (which is a complete joke, since its graphics hardware is piss-poor even for its time). Also, according to all the techie people I know, HP itself is a joke. I don't doubt them. :/

I also still have my very first laptop, an 8-year-old Dell that was originally dad's, and it's remarkably intact and is still good for certain tasks to save this sorry thing from having to juggle them with everything else.

I'm sick to death of laptops, though, 'cause I need far more power and for once a computer that can handle all the software I use for school and eventually work, plus maybe some games. Something big and stable and with a huge-ass screen instead of this 1280x800 crap. I don't need interfaces taking up all the workspace in my creative software. I badly want to have my boyfriend build me a fantastical custom desktop, but generating the funds for it is going painfully slowly (thanks, economy >:[).

Yes, and I'm very satisfied with it! Especially since the laptop itself only cost about #330... And it's NOT one of those crappy little netbooks! I bought the laptop itself with my own money from my new-ish job, and my mom paid for my accessories and baggage. :3

I have two: one MacBook from about two years ago and a netbook that I purchased last year. Because the MacBook doesn't handle games very well, even under Windows, I'm looking to replace it's gaming functions with a better desktop.

I have my own laptop. I got it around October last year because my old computer was just.. Well, let's just say it drove me insane most of the time. I didn't want to spend hours waiting for programs to load, since I do use big programs like photoshop a lot, and loading up firefox was just insane, I could only use one program at a time. :\ But I do use the computer most of the time and pretty much the only one in my family who uses the internet/computer. So I went from having a computer with 244 mb's of RAM to a laptop with 4GB's of RAM.

I guess we can all agree the latter is far more superior.

Oh and it's a Toshiba Satellite a500 with Windows 7 Ultimate.
