We've talked worse in the supporter chat. Maybe it would have been less... uh, forward there? The Skype folk overlook more, and the chat isn't public. Honestly though idc if it's public or private but you guys' eyes do so yeah

I don't mind people talking about that kind of stuff. In an organic, mature way. Doesn't mean when a conversation on Gaia/a thread on a Pokemon forum is forced into a hard right turn into hentai I won't be taken aback.

The way I see it, CarcharOdin brought the topic to an idiot-ridden forum, I shared something I saw about idiot-ridden forums, it happened to be about FAKKU. If you guys want to flip **** because of its adult content which wasn't what I was talking about, don't blame me.

Apparently we're keeping this dog for no reason. The Mexicans we got him from don't want him, our relatives don't want him, I don't want him, and I'm awaiting a cat.

From what we hear Arthur is fixed, has his shots, and is housebroken, which is great say for this dog who is none of the above. He's about as good as the mattress that smells like him we're giving to my uncle's female pitbulls. That's all he's done for us besides ruin our carpets.

I actually want some kittens, to be honest. Unfortunately the selection here is horrible and people are really keen on mangling the genitalia of their felines, which I personally disapprove of. If you don't want kittens you gotta keep them separated for a few days a month. It's not that hard. I'm actually interested in breeding cats myself.

As noble as steering into kittens is, I'll take the direct approach.

Come on, guys. You know you can't talk about porn here. In a perfect world you could, but you know if I let you go into that H-staff will just step in and that's a bad time for everyone.

Castrating animals is wrong; it's like one minute we're the people that feed them and give them shelter, and next minute we're throwing their future children away.

As true as this is, I still can't help but laugh that you edited three posts to censor something the forum mechanism didn't get. Andy has some dedication, yup :P

I don't mind fixing dogs, but leave cats alone. If their feral believe me when I say the environment will keep their numbers down. Hell, our group of cats' numbers were thinned by unfortunate chance even though they were totally tame.

What status quo? What limits to push?

A lot of folks around here can be really prudish, and sometimes it's really for the best (as above), and then again at other times it just seems unnecessary and silly. I'm kind of tired of hearing the same old argument of Pokémon's official target audience which isn't even all of their actual audience let alone PC's general demographic being used as an excuse to make things so... kosher here. Our atmosphere here should be a lot lighter - people almost seem to care to the point of objecting to things outside "normal" bounds. I'm also really bothered with people using the Thunderdome as an extreme example to justify their prudishness; there is definitely a middle ground that can be reached.

I've come to learn that PC is only good for certain kinds of discussions. If you want to talk about what you want to ask Santa for Christmas, PC is a good place to go. If you want to talk about your favorite show on Nick Jr., PC is a good place to go. If you want to learn how to multiply, PC is a good place to go.

I just don't bother with threads that are too personal or yucky for me. You kids go have fun with that if you feel a need for that :)
