[PKMN FULL] Mystery Dungeon: Explorers of Haven [T/OOC]

Appearance: tuft of fur on forehead is much shaggier

History: Amp is a very eager Pokémon. He's always the first one to start the day and the last one to end it. He always tried to be the outstanding member of his pride, even if it meant butting heads with his peers. Amp never really cared about other Pokémon's personal struggles or issues. This made it difficult to make friends, but Amp made by with one or two. He was always more interested in himself, anyway.

One day, this turned on its head. Amp and his friend, Sparky, were heading to their usual playing spot when they found a giant hole in the ground, one they were sure had never been there before. Amp begged Sparky to come down with him to see what was inside. Although Sparky heavily protested, he eventually agreed. As they went further and further, the hole grew darker and damper, until they could hardly see where they were going. After a minute or two, Amp hardly even realized he had been separated from Sparky; he just kept going further, until he saw a shiny glowing object, piercing through the darkness of the hole. Just as Amp was about to pick it up, Sparky's scream cut through the silence of the cave. Amp rushed back the way he came in, hoping he'd simply run into Sparky on his way out. When he was out of the hole, he realized Sparky wasn't behind him. He called Sparky's name into the hole several times, but no response came.

Amp was devastated. It was his fault and he knew it. If he hadn't been so selfish and stupid, Sparky would still be next to him. Seeking a form of atonement for that traumatic day, Amp vowed himself to become the greatest Explorer ever, so that one day, he could find Sparky.

Personality: Although deeply affected by the tragedy with Sparky, Amp still has a lot of growing up to do. He's still very eager and excitable, and always energetic. This makes him susceptible to naïveté and very rash thinking. One might even say he is impulsive. Although he is less selfish, Amp is still incredibly ambitious, and will stop for very little when he has a goal in mind. However, Amp has never forgotten about what happened with Sparky. Occasionally, he will find himself solemnly thinking about that day, and the reason he wants to be a great Explorer. Those are Amp's quietest moments.

Moveset: Tackle, Leer, Charge, Ice Fang [egg]

i think it looks just fine, so you'll be accepted. do keep in mind that normally, Pokémon just faint, so actually dying from a battle is rare. it's fine in your history, but for the RP Sivera generally doesn't need to worry about getting killed ( ´ ▽ ` )ゞ

your SU is looking quite good already! i'd just like you to expand on Amp's personality a little more. you say the tragedy has affected him deeply, but he's apparently still a happy, excitable and naive little Shinx. of course he's still quite young, so i don't think he needs to be super serious or anything, but i'd think the loss of a friend would at least have made him more cautious, for example. i'd just like you to give that a little more thought c:

alright guys, great news... the IC has been submitted!
i have been staring at it non-stop for the past two hours, so forgive me if there is anything i've missed or something, haha.

i ended up leaving the village NPCs nameless, sorry about that. i'll try to name any NPCs that i introduce from now on, though. i've also added a little something about Officer Watchog, whom you'll be able to turn in outlaws to, so make sure to read that, it's in the Guildhouse bit c: also a bit about missions has been added to the Mechanics section. but it's all pretty much common sense i think.

as for missions, i've only really provided a little something to go on, so you're welcome to make up the details of each mission yourself. or if you'd prefer not to, i could also write it up for you c: either way... i THINK it should be relatively self-explanatory... but of course that may just be because everything came from my head ( ´ ▽ ` )ゞ

History:
Nick doesn't remember much of his parents, but he knew more than his younger brother. Nick remembers his Mama Flaffy's towering figure, he recalls the warm hugs of his Papa, and most of all he remembers the silly banter they traded. It was a happy time for Nick and his brother, and then their parents died.

Since then, it was Nick and his brother against the world. There wasn't much Nick and his brother could do with dead parents and being homeless. At first, Nick went around begging for money, odd jobs, and the like, but nothing. In a moment of desperation, Nick joined the local gang of thieves to provide for himself and his brother, Aaron.

At first, Nick distracted the many vendors with his cute appearance while his gang mates would take whatever they wanted. But soon, Nick began stealing himself. He brought what he could back to the makeshift home Nick and Aaron managed to find themselves, and Nick was always ready with a story or three about the gallant efforts he took to bring the things he stole home.

Eventually, during one of his heists, Nick and his gang mate at the time were caught. Aaron was devastated when Nick had to spend two months in jail, but grateful that it was much less than the other Pokemon he was with who wracked up to nearly a year of jail time. When Nick was released from jail, Aaron confronted him with news that Haven was accepting apprentice explorers.

"I don't want you to end up in jail because you are trying to take care of me. It scared me to death!" Aaron began, "You've always dreamed about being an explorer Nick. This is your chance!"

So Nick and Aaron packed everything that they had, left the tiny village they lived in, and set out for Haven.

Personality:

Nick is friendly. He's ready with a smile to whomever he meets. Even with Pokemon he doesn't like, he always tries to be polite. He would rather not cause trouble in public and would rather save outbursts of anger and disgust in more private places. Nick is always armed with a story or three. Usually, it's because he tells them as bed times stories to his brother or glorious adventures to explain how he brings the things he steals home.

His friendly and happy personality gives others the impression that Nick could be a bit of a pushover. He isn't. Nick just has a lot of patience for other pokemon and their… "issues." It's a bad habit of his, but he tends to bottle a lot of emotions inside (mostly anger.) Once he explodes, he gets very critical with those who've caused this explosion.

Nick has a brother complex, which many Pokemon who have met him would agree upon. No one is allowed to pick on Aaron, but himself. He is always thinking about how to make Aaron's life better instead of his own and he is constantly there to look out for him. Nick lends him an ear when he needs it, but knows enough that he can't suffocate Aaron with his affection and offers him his own breathing room (even if a bit reluctantly.)

He is insecure about his physical capabilities. Nick feels like he should be able to do more and often curses the attacks/moves he knows and at times not being born as a Mareep.

keep in mind that for both of these missions you will need to have a group of at least 3 members to make them succeed.「Give It Back」can be done with two, but then you probably won't be able to bring in the outlaw.

for simplicity's sake, you may ignore other characters that are getting registered for your opening post, and consider them to take place at different times. after leaving the Guildhouse, it'd be nice if you did take note of other characters, but i won't be strict with regard to that.
