XY had an image, ORAS did not.

Well, I'm getting all excited. The timing of this is way too right to me for it to be fake. With #Pokemon20 this weekend and the direct tomorrow, I'll be damned if this isn't true. We'll have to see, of course, but if it is a hoax, then it's either conveniently timed or someone has been waiting for the perfect time (with the announcement of the direct). Either way, this is - at least for me - just building more hype for this whole year, and even if Sun and Moon aren't real, I'm still excited for the direct to see what we've got in store this year.

Now I would say thatthis is the new Grey, but SEVERAL Websites have been trademarked. And we have that really nice logo. This might be history repeating itself *can I give a HGSS?*. This isn't exactly HGSS however. Technology has advanced. It is easier to not only stop leaks but cause them. Anyways, the Wii U is a flop and this will have to be on the 3ds if real

Not necessarily. Think how many more Wii U sales this would cause if it was on the Wii U. The Wii U is no longer a total disaster; Splatoon and Smash worked wonders for the thing, supported by Mario Maker, but it is still nowhere near at the sales mark it should be after like 3.5 years on the market.

But... if there was a main series Pokémon game to coincide with the 20th anniversary, maybe with a special Wii U console too or something... How many millions of Pokémon fans who don't own a Wii U would flock to buy one? I know for a fact I'd get a Wii U just for this if I didn't already have one.


All speculation anyway. If they are real they'll more than likely be handheld. But it's nice to say what if, because hey: it would be cool.

GameFreak's philosophy is based on Pokémon being a handheld title. Once the lines between handhelds and TV consoles are blurred — say, NX being a handheld that goes HD on the TV, that's probably when you'll be able to play it on the TV.

That's why I ended it with it being unlikely. Still: I'm perfectly happy with the 3DS at the moment. What I really hope they don't do is make it N3DS exclusive. They probably won't, since that will cause them to lose profit but hey - you never know.

I had an idea like this way back during Generation 3. Similar to how Team Magma and Team Aqua wanted to change the climate, my imaginary Team Lunar and Team Solar wanted to cause perpetual night and day respectively. I named the imaginary games Black and White. Those names eneded up being used in Gen 5, but not with the night/day dynamic I envisioned.

Welp, thanks to you all... I'm now officially hyped and nothing good ever comes out of it. That's what I get for being curious...

Anyways, it might be fake, I mean a ton of people though Pokemon Gray would be a thing but we got B2W2, which wasn't such a bad trade-off I guess? I don't really know since those where the years where I didn't play pokemon actively.

Anyways, I think that if this is real, and I hope it is since those logos look amazing, it'll have an Episode Z. Like the delta episode, but a lot longer(I'm not the only one that found the Delta Episode too short, right?).

But I don't know... I want this to be real just because those logos look really cool... Also, there is that incredibly weird and out of place twit Junichi Masuda made earlier... At this point I'm just drawing straw. THOSE LOGOS LOOK SO DANG GOOD

"While it's remotely possible these could be placeholders, Junichi Masuda Tweeted a photo of the moon last week, mentioning that it was out the same time as the sun. In light of these official trademark filings, this seems to be more than a coincidence."

Of course, this is the same Pokebeach that produced this false leak 2 days ago https://www.pokebeach.com/2016/02/supposed-insider-information-for-next-pokemon-games (It's a good laugh, I'd read it), so whatever.

EDIT: Or Nintendo could be pulling some huge and elaborate ruse and they meant for us to find this leak. *suspicious music plays*.

I love the sound of Pokemon Sun and Moon, and I am really hyped for the Nintendo Direct announcement later today, only issue being is I have work at 4PM and the direct announcement starts at 3PM UK time, Imma probably gunna end up watching it on my phone or something, if I miss it I will be deeply frustrated. I just hope its worth watching :D

You do realize that pokebeach made that as a joke, to tell people not to believe a leak just because it's a leak right?

Because that's literally what the rainbow and gen 6.5 list that got so much attention was gaining attention because of. No real evidence for either, but they gained massive popularity. Pokebeach who get actual rumors( sometimes real ones, like XY) wanted to teach people to only believe in something if it had proof.

To many people took this seriously....

This is definitely a concerning comment that deserves more attention. I'm a little worried about this. :(

they don't file trade marks for the TCG( As Far as I Know) let alone ones with logos. It's for a game.

Also the tcg names are never this simple. Just look at the new ones:

Ancient Legends, Roaring Skies, Break( this is simple in name but not a common one), primal clash, furious fists, etc.

Sun and Moon is not one at all, so don't worry!

It will be the second half of 6th gen! That's why so few new Pokémon in XY. And that's why the tourist in XY said he came from a region other than the current ones.

By "second half of 6th gen" I mean this game will not be in Kalos but will be part of 6th gen, and maybe we even get a further remake of either Kanto or Sinnoh next year. I'm really excited!
