ASM is assembly programming, basically using programming commands and stuff to get the rom to do stuff...check out HackMew's tutorial if you want to learn more, but it is very complicated and confusing XD

I'm actually working on learning some ASM right now, it might take awhile, but there are lots of events and features that require ASM and that I feel are necessary for this hack.

As for Red's team, the game will definitely be geared so that if you are looking to stay with the manga and recreate Red's team, it will be easy for you to. However, I believe that one of the main things people love about the rpg open-world type thing is that you have almost unlimited options, so other pokes will definitely be catchable.

I havent read the manga. But I am up-to-date on the anime, and I have seen the newest film "Strong World" :D Best OP film I have ever seen. BTW, the name is my nick name only I put it in Japanese, and this is an alt. Want a link to my main account?
