  • Yeah, what that bit there means is that I just didn't want it reposted anywhere else without permission but thank you for checking anyway! :D
That sounds like it would be, but without seeing it I don't know for sure. Putting a larger amount of bytes won't hurt, in any case.
Well that's really just an approximation to use when searching for free space. I consider scripts to be "large" when they're more than just talking to someone and getting a response. Really, just use your best judgement.
If I were you I would just remove the event from the level scripts and just create a new one from scratch.
Hello there! Are you a ROM hacker? I am extremely sorry to disturb you, but would you like to join my small hacking team?
Ok well If you want to delete it open up A-map and go to 5.3 and then click the header button. Scroll down till you see map scripts then there should be some small arrows next to a box and the box should say 0. click up and then click remove, save scripts.
I depends on what you want to do with it. But to edit it you need to open xse, open up your rom, paste the offset in the little text box and then hit the little button labled level script right next to it. Then enter and have fun editing! :)
Hey NG! I noticed people were being pretty confusing in the Q&A thread with your problem, and not overly helpful, did you work the problem out in the end? :)
I friended you because there a little digimon fans in this forum. And I'm assuming you are a digimon fan since you are making a digimon hack.
You're misunderstanding me. Your entire thread was saying what you wanted in your hack/ outlining the story, while leaving out your introduction which is the one thing which is absolutely necessary in order for your thread to be approved. If you don't have it, you won't be approved. Simple as that. Your chances will really improve if you read the rules and have a look at currently approved threads to see what constitutes an introduction.

And I'm sorry, but circular logic isn't going to get either of your threads approved. If you're stuck and not getting any help from the question threads then there's nothing stopping you from contacting more experienced members privately to ask for their help in solving problems. Better yet, if you could work through those problems by yourself you would be even stronger than you are now :)
Yeah, neither of your threads were accepted. Your team thread was basically just focusing on what was happening story-wise in-game. The bulk of team thread introductory posts shouldn't be centred around the hack you want to make (That's what threads in the Hacks Showcase and Progressing Hacks focus on), but the outlining of why people should join and work with you.

Questions relating to scripting should always go in the Script Help Thread, which is why your second thread was rejected.
No that's not it at all. You need to ask questions, that's how you get better. I'm just pointing you to a good guide that will answer your current and future questions. Diegoisawesome's guide is how I learned to script and I use it for a reference for every script I make. It's easily one of the most valuable resources we have as third gen hackers.
