I'm not sure what problems you're encountering but I just dl'ed the patch and patched it. It worked smooth on mine.

Heads up for future downloaders. The "teleport to eterna city when wiped out after bike" hasn't been fixed yet and there doesn't seem to be an alternate method to go back. I tried making a new house (or even just an NPC) that could warp you back to your hometown, but hacking DS is way different...

This problem is not due to the rom. It's in the emulator. You'll only have to disable an option on the settings to solve this. Can't recall anymore sorry been so long since I started playing from mobile.

I patched it personally before sharing it on the group. I used NUPS, on a stock Emerald I got from Emuparadise. Normally, I got error patching saying name doesn't match. So I chose the ignore section of the NUPS and it patched successfully. Only him got the problem so far. It's version 1.2.1...
