Quick question: are we allowed to use switch teams? As long as they have the two requirements of course.

Trying to get a feel for how your opponent is playing is a good way to figure out whether to pull the trigger on making a play. Aside from risk/reward, just recognizing your opponent's play style can be extremely useful. Again, that just comes from playing a lot and experience.

Mine is Chimchar. I just have a thing for Monkeys. I'm also a pretty big fan of the new evolutions added. Honchkrow is up there with Magmortar.

I haven't actually been involved in this forum, but I'd like to be a housemate in 4th gen if that's okay. I'm still relatively new and this seems like a good way to get a little involved. Also a reason to go check out the 4th gen forums. :) It is my favorite gen.

I think I'm around 1500 on the ladder, but I haven't really been trying to ladder up at all. I've been playing around a lot with different sets and just using different pokes. Maybe I just think there's more of it because it can be kind of annoying. :p
