Nope. Not for any other reason than I usually have a full team I'm attached to by that time - honestly, I just very rarely use late (or even mid-) game pokemon in general. Despite Absol being one of my favourite designs in Pokémon, I didn't actually use one until ORAS because I never caught one...

Personally, I would specifically want Pokémon Yellow remade. Kanto needs a full on remake for the newest consoles (not just HGSS' postgame) and since we've had FRLG, I think Electric Yellow (or whatever they want to call it) would be a better option. DPPt seems too recent, you can still play it...

TBH, I think they could have had 5 Pokemon even with the higher levels, just because of the way the EXP Share got rejigged. I know so many people who were way overlevelled during XY because they never switched EXP Share off (guilty). Although, they could always just reintroduce challenge mode...

I've replayed Diamond a few times (and restarted Platinum even more; why can I never finish that game?), so I think in order of most to least picked: Piplup > Turtwig > Chimchar I love my murderous water/steel penguin ;;
