I am Pinkish's cousin. You shouldn't get a mapper. If you were to ask for help from mappers, you'd never learn. Your starting town seems pretty big to me. Let me give you a summary of what a town consists of. Think about a real town, not the ones that gamefreak made back when they were noobs...

The tiles impress me, but judging from the second screenshot, your mapping is not perfected and you are pretty untidy. Mapping comes naturally, it cannot be taught. Once your experience level go up, so will your mapping skills. Don't worry.

This code only allows you to change the coloring (to transparent) of the textbox. If you are looking to change the style of how it looks, like in B/W 2, I think that will be very hard. Thanks anyways!
