I'm making a cutscene with a battle in the middle of it and i want to make a battle were if you lose the cutscene will carry on with your pokemon healed and you don't white out, is it possible?

How do I change EBDX battlebacks between each other and how do I give the special EBDX transitions to trainers.

I'm trying to make a gym puzzle were the player battles a trainer and a roadblock disappears but the switches are confusing me. This is what the event pages look like but the roadblocks are still there or just not there at all, am I doing something wrong?
