    Ruby hack: Pokémon Snakewood Version

You need a Ditto. It'll turn into the key. And I think you may need a Magnemite, to power it but I'm not sure

Most of the time that's the save type, go to Options> Emulator> Save Type, and choose Flash, then click Flash 128k, should run alright. If that doesn't work, you need a different ROM, you need a clean copy of V1.0

Ah, I see. Glad it's working for you mate

First you've gotta take the ROM out of the zip file, extract it. You don't install the patch onto the computer, you apply it to the ROM. I use Lunar IPS for patching. To make everything simpler, make sure the ROM, patch, and VBA are all in the same folder, keep 'em close. It sounds like you're...

@ROBO, I'm happy for you mate. Congrats. @BradonEatsRainbows Common problems with VBA are the save type and the ROM. Make sure you've got a clean copy of Ruby V1.0 and that the save type is Flash and it's set to Flash 128K. The save type options are in Options, Emulator, then Save Type. Hope...

You should have a clean ROM and patch by now, if changing the save type didn't help I dunno what to tell you mate. I've reached the end of my advice, sorry 'bout that :/

If you're using VBA to emulate the common fix is to go to the save type and change it to Flash and click Flash 128K. Options>Emulator>Save type

To the person who asked, you get cut in the endless plains after defeating Pestilence. It's in the cave to the left (the endless plains, not the HM. Though I suppose the HM too since it's in the plains)

That's the patch. You need to apply it to the ROM. If you have problems running it on VBA you probably need to change the save type. It's in Options>Emulator>Save Type, then you click Flash and then click Flash 128K

What you need is a clean Ruby ROM, a gameboy emulator (Visual Boy Advance seems to be the one that works best), the Snakewood patch, and something to apply the patch. I use Lunar IPS. Once you apply the patch, you just run the game in the emulator and there you go. Or if you have a gameboy flash...

I'm not super set on Entei, I was just thinking about it because I didn't have a fire type yet. My first choice of dog was Suicune, though I've never had a Celebi before so that could be cool. How do you evolve it to Celebi?
