Of all the years we've spent playing Pokemon, we have our favorite Pokemon we like using for each playthrough in each region. What would be your all time team of Pokemon for traversing each region of the Pokemon World?
Mine are: -
Kanto:
Johto:
Hoenn:
Sinnoh...
Like everybody else, I'll assume this is an in-game team.
First of all- Squirtle. Keep Surf, but I recommend Ice Beam, Earthquake and Skull Bash. Ice Beam for Grass weakness and Dragon Types, Earthquake as a response to its Electric weakness, and Skull Bash as it's kind of the Squirtle line's...
Charizard with: Flamethrower, Fly, Dragon Claw, Earthquake.
Obviously Flamethrower is a powerful STAB move and THE move against Lorelai's Jynx. You need a Flyer so Charizard comes in handy here (not to mention that Fly is another powerful STAB move and sweeps all of Bruno's Fighting Types)...
Good point. While I still think that this should be his final Pokemon if Pokemon was real and Red was a real Trainer, I'm supposed to be constructing a team for game purposes.
Given the situation, I'll make his final Pokemon this guy:
Marowak because Red goes back and adopts the Baby Cubone...
Charizard since he is Red and the Mascot for Pokemon Red Version is Charizard. Also, it's his starter in Origins and that is the official anime based explicitly off of the game's story so.........yeah. It would have: Flamethrower, Fly, Dragonbreath, and Iron Tail.
Lapras from the Silph Co...
Espeon is my favorite Eeveelution in general. Ever since Gens 3/4, I've used Espeon almost exclusively in any game where it's available.
However, in Pokemon Gold, I actually used an Umbreon. Given the game mechanics at the time, I found that an Umbreon with Shadowball, Headbutt, Curse and...
Sorry for the late reply. work obligations and the Christmas season kept me occupied over the last few months.
You can heal Freeze at the Pokemon Center. It would kind of be unreasonable to not allow it.
You can choose any starter and roll with it until you are able to capture one of the required types for your chosen challenge. Also, if your starter later gains one of the required types when it evolves, you can use it and start your team right away.
If you're playing the game on an emulator...
Nowadays, I usually tend to plan teams in advance. However, that wasn't always the case. The first time I ever played a Pokemon game, my team was built purely on happenstance.
On my first ever playthrough of Red version as a kid, I had originally intended to only use my starter . My cousin (who...
UPDATES ON STARK CHALLENGE:
Update 1
I did all of the introductory stuff on Emerald. Started with Treecko and played up until I got my Pokeballs. I went on to catch a Poochyena I named Robb. I boxed Treecko and made Robb my Starter. Afterwards, I generated a Murkrow I called Bran and a Sneasel...
In order to build your teams for certain challenges, only a particular type of Pokemon maybe allowed. Such types may include Steel, Dark, or Fairy types (types which either did not exist in the older generation games or are extremely hard or difficult to find or access in the course of a normal...
Winter has come to Westeros so in celebration of the new season of the show, I'll do another challenge.
