You need to find the .sav file from your 3.6.1 game and change the name to match the name of the .gba file for 4.2. Then when you play the 4.2, you should start wherever you last saved in 3.6.1.

That doesn't matter anyway, because there wouldn't enough space to even finish johto on the rom.

I'm pretty sure he said to download from coolrom.com, which is not monitored by the F.B.I., seeing how that's what I and millions of other people use to get roms.

@Angel 20. You have 2 options. Either download the 4.0 version and play past that, or look up the walk through walls cheat for fire red and walk through the trees on the left side of the building before going in

This question is about playing a hack, not doing the actual hacking. I know that I need to patch the original clean rom with say an ips file, but after doing so, say a new version of that havk is released. Can I patch the rom that has already been patched with the previous version's ips file?

@AmazingCharizard. I don't believe there is a special way to win. All you have to do is actually beag a certain time. If you keep trying and can never seem to win, you can try using the walk through walls cheat to go through the course without colliding with rocks. Walk through walls gameshark...

@ATLooney. Everybody gets the glitch. There are two ways to solve. Download v4.1 or 4.0 Change the name of the save state from v4.2 rom to match the name of the v4.0 or 4.1 rom. Play this one instead and get past that part. Than save and change the save state back to the previous name from v4.2...

Hi meta. I have a request/suggestion. When you release a new beta, could you put up a sign where it ends signaling that this is the end of this beta version? It is kind of confusing because I can't be sure if I can't go on becuz I'm in the wrong place, if its the end of beta, or a glitch. Thank you

Personally, my favorite is generation 5, but Rayquaza is just my favorite pokemon. I joined mainly for rom hacking. I especially enjoyed metapod23's Pokemon Ash Gray as well as Light Platinum, though I don't know who made it.
