    FireRed hack: Pokémon Unbound [COMPLETED]

Fair enough. As for swarms, there used to be a trick when they changed daily. I don't know if it still works the same way, but if you saved, waited for the next day (hour now maybe), you could reload your game and always get a different swarm. Does not work with save states, I assume.

    Do you have the DexNav?

Having quickly looked over Bulbapedia and Serebii, it seems the Slowpoke line never was able to learn Waterfall... Not sure if I have overlooked it though (Strg+F'd). They can in Gen9 however. Iirc, I noticed Gen7 and 8 learnsets in Unbound. It possibly is Gen8 with adaptations for pre-Gen8 mons.

I think I may have seen it taught by a tutor in the Battle Frontier (post game only). Some moves are exclusively available there.

Oh, I may have misread your post. Thanks for the recommendation, I may check these out once I have a proper DS emulator.

Your next objective is displayed at the top of the pause screen, but also in your mission log ("A Hero's/Heroine's Journey"). I wouldn't recommend skipping the dialogue though, the story of ROM hacks is often superior to the official games. Newer Gens might be different, but personally I...

Regarding a certain speechless trainer and his trades, here's a thing I found. Maybe the expert helpers around here find it useful:

    FireRed hack: Pokémon Unbound [COMPLETED]

Well, before anyone is as stupid as me and potentially waste hours, make sure you read both README files. Most of us probably know about adjusted abilities and the like, but I just wasted a lot of time in trying to get an unobtainable-until-post-game egg from the Day-Care Man's sister. I...

    FireRed hack: Pokémon Unbound [COMPLETED]

Quick question: Are there known issues with the Eject Button? I was fighting the non-maxed Electivire in Seaport, it used Discharge on me but didn't trigger a switch. Having read Bulbapedia about scenarios where it doesn't activate, I am still clueless why it doesn't work here. Potential...

    FireRed hack: Pokémon Unbound [COMPLETED]

Sorry to ask about bugs repeatedly, but there is another strange observation I made, which might be necessary to look into. Regarding the Metronome item (+20% move power per turn consecutively used), I noticed the damage listed via L button was giving me wrong values. I noticed "Echoed Voice"...

    FireRed hack: Pokémon Unbound [COMPLETED]

Regarding consumable items, I've never been using those besides berries. But lately I've been trying a little bit of actual team building, optimizing held items included. But therein lies my issue: Consumable one-time acquisition items (such as the Eject Button in my case) are supposed to...

    FireRed hack: Pokémon Unbound [COMPLETED]

Use a file manager on your phone (or on your PC), go to the folder your emulator uses and look for your old save file. Save files usually use the name of your ROM file and the ".sav" extension. If you only use save states, save normally before. If your old ROM name is "Unbound202.gba" and your...

    FireRed hack: Pokémon Unbound [COMPLETED]

Quick question I fear I already know the answer of: Is there any way to teach Alolan Raichu Teleport? According to Bulbapedia, it could be learned via TM in Let's Go, so I was wondering if it was included in its moves. If not, may I recommend having it looked into? Its current iteration isn't...

    FireRed hack: Pokémon Unbound [COMPLETED]

Another raid related (bug?/) thing I encountered: I was fighting a Minior and we eventually started a weather war. It started sandstorms by Max Rockfall each round before I answered with rain by Max Geyser. One turn my Pokémon barely survived, so naturally its slow Max Geyser would override the...

    FireRed hack: Pokémon Unbound [COMPLETED]

I really like the addition of unofficial abilities, especially one particular Pokémon proves itself as a capable sweeper with "Royal Roar" (a SpAtk "Moxie"). But it got me thinking, if it was viable to release a "vanilla" version in the future, where every Pokémon had its cumulated past and...
