Nope. We wanted to keep focus on the original 151 and have the extra evolutions be late game content. However, keep in mind that the later evolutions are much stronger than usual since they're evolving from an already buffed pre-evolution. Scyther and Onix in particular are both very menacing now.

A beta type that we added just for giggles. It does nothing to affect the type table-- Pidgey's line is essentially pure Flying!

Casino and Safari Zone! Trade evolutions outside of Golem (32) evolve at 36! Ones that require Metal Coat and King's Rock-- they can be found in Indigo Plateau and function as evolution stones.

This has been fixed in the new patch; 1.2.1. It is available in the first post-- since it is a bug fix, it wont affect your .sav, but you will need to install it onto a fresh ROM

Android! Nice. I also use an Android, so I can recommend this for you: Just a quick google search away! Once you download that, as well as my patch, you'll need to find a clean Red ROM. Once you do that, use UniPatcher to install the patch to the ROM and you'll be good to go!

Pikachu is no longer in Viridian Forest, you can find them in the route right next to Rock Tunnel, North of the Power Plant. You can also find them in the Power Plant!

I would say there are more unspoken story changes, yes. But I would also say we haven't had a huge focus on changing up the story either. 🤔 This does make me wonder how we could go about modernizing the story without adding in too much dialog , however.
