[Spoilers] XY Capture/Evolution/Release Thread

I rather prefer Torchic belonging to a new rival instate of Ash & co.
Ash doesn't need another fire/fighting type , Serena already has Braxian , Clemont has no use for Torchic and Dedene should be enough for Bonnic (Max didn't get any pokemon)
Honestly , A beautiful Tsundere Girl with Red hair tied in Ponytail and Mega Blaziken will make XY Series more entertaining then another Trip.
After all , Red is the color of fire and A Redhead girl will Blaziken suit much better.
Plus , Ash didn't got a single good female rival around his age.
Imagine , Clemont and his Gym-battle in The Opening get replace by an unknown girl with Rad hair & Torchic ! Wouldn't you feel excited ?

I don't think Ash or Co will catch Noibat Soon Because it would been revealed in their proflie at Movie Website.
And even if Noibat join the Cast , It won't be capture by Ash thank to that Hawlucha ! Unless writer want Ash to have an unbalance team with 3 flying type that make him look like a Flying Pokemon Specialist.
May be , Ash should have dump Hawlucha since 2 Dragon type is better then 3 flying type.

Also , I don't want Team Rocket to get ether Torchic and Noibat ! There no need to waste Good pokemon on them.
What are Team Rocket going to do with good Pokemon ? Beside using them to steal Pikachu and other people pokemon.
Jessie's Pokemon performing career will be temporary !
I say , Gave those loser some loser pokemon that look like a Bad guy!
There no need for them to have good pokemon Until Jessie and James find their True Goal in life and actually head toward their own development rather then remaining some loser Bad guy that steal other people pokemon.

PS : Jessie & James will be Loser as long as they work for Team Rocket and chase after Giovanni's dream rather then their own goal in Life .

So anyone cane weild megas in the show I believe. The next episodes trailer has james using garchompnite to make sycamore's garchomp mega evolve! There doesn't seem to be any machine behind it either.

Not Only Ash losing Goodra , We have wait for 3 more month before he catchs any New Pokemon to begin with.
Worst part , Jessie or James might get Noibat even though they doesn't deserve any more Pokemon then they already has Since they will just waste that Pokemon.
Does the Director/Writer want to kill this Show ?

And now the possibility for Ash getting a Mega Evolution has opened up yet again.

If James actually mega evolves Garchomp, then Ash can catch many older pokemon to mega evolve. However, if you watch the trailer, when Garchomp actually evolves, he is not in the same place has where James tries to evolve it. The attempt James makes could fail and then Sycamore could evolve it to save the day.

Look like Jessie's Pumpkaboo didn't evolve like Fans predicted . Its still a Pumpkaboo in the movie .
Well , Clemont was censored in the spoiler cake so it seem like he also going to have a redesign like Serena and Goodra will still be with the group.
If only the XY070 didn't existed .

Clemont is not getting a redesign. We've already seen him in the movie trailers and artwork.

I also think they would have mentioned it or given a hint by now if Clemont was to get a new design. Isn't impossible, but if it isn't before the 6th gym, I don't see it happening.

And looks like I am right, James failed to mega evolve Garchomp. Clemont's dad let Sycamore barrow his mega stone. So the 'having a strong bond to mega evolve' is still in play. Waiting for an episode with dress up Pikachu in it lol.

Gorgeist is definitely not a guest pokemon. We have enough evidence to cover this whole rumor up. What's up with the Noibat in the new trailer. Ash's maybe? (probably)

An Eevee appeared in the ending theme ... is Ash finally going to get one? (because I don't see him getting a Noibat, wtf, a third flying-type?)

Unfortunately, I think that Ash will get that Noibat.. (Deducing that from the new ending where its seen with the rest of his pokemon)- Yes, having 3 Flying types is so aweful. Furthermore, it's very likely for Serena to get that Eevee.

I say ,Both Noibat & Eevee should be catch by Ash.
After all , He has to dump a Pokemon worth more then Noibat & Eevee combine.
Unlike him , Nether Serena & Clemont has to dump their strong Pokemon ! They can keep it forever with them no matter how big or Powerful it is for them.
Clemont doesn't need to catch any Pokemon after Luxrey since he's a Inventor , Not a trainer ! Remember, Brock only caught 2 Pokemon with one of them was Borrowed.
Also , Serena goal only require her to have One Pokemon , Not six !

I had no objection on Ash catching Noibat until Hawlucha came !
Now , Ash will have 3 flying type if he catchs Noibat ! But if he doesn't catch it that then I might has to watch Clemont or Serena using Noivern.
It hurtful when Ash has to dump his Good pokemon But it even more Painful watching his sidekick catching and keeping better pokemon then him.
Plus , Noibat is very common and practically any trainer can catch them in a cave! Ash haven't caught one yet because he has to wait until a Noibat fly all the way to him to be captured.
Satoshi Teiji created Pokemon So Kids could enjoy the fun he had Collecting Bug as a Kid. Yet The Anime doesn't even show The Sprit of collecting Pokemon and most case consider it as a Bad thing. No wonder , Satoshi Teiji believe PokeSpe to be the ideal Pokemon world he imagine.
Kids who collect Bug doesn't wait for a Bug to fly the way to his cage ! he has to go and find a rare and Big Bug himself. (Something that Ash never do)
So How will Kids feel the fun Satoshi Teiji felt Collecting Bug If Ash doesn't go to find and catch a rare pokemon for himself ?
Few week ago , It felt like Ash will have the Best Pokemon team ever But now its feel Ash will have the most Unbalance team ever.
A team with 3 Speed based flying pokemon with no defensive Pokemon , Ash's Current Team is the Perfect prey for a Trick room.
And Its all because of the Stupid Hawlucha ! I wish Ash dumped him instate of Goodra.
Trust me , If Ash catch a Noibat then he must dump Hawlucha to Prof Sycamore Lad or some Wrestling ring .
Its not like Ash will reunite with his Primape and decide to leave Hawlucha to Anthony while adding Primeape to his team.

3 flying types and 2 Dragons for Ash? That's rediculous. I expect Noibat to be James'.

I also believe that Hawlucha will be left behind by Ash some day, for training purposes or something. Then during the Kalos League, Ash will pick up Hawlucha with brand new moves and strategies.

My bet with Eevee is that it's going to be Serena's and it's going to evolve into Sylveon. Calling it now.

As for Noibat I'm... not going to be surprised if it's Ash's. Though I would much rather have it be Clemont's because I do agree with Ash having three flying types being a bit ridiculous (he'll only have two dragons if Goodra comes back) I can see Ash with a Noibat so either way I'll be pleasantly happy. He's already beaten Clemont though so even with three flying types he's not going to have much of a problem gym wise. You'd think the ice gym but Hawlucha is Flying/Fighting and Fletchinder is Flying/Fire so both would only take neutral damage. I do wonder who is last Pokemon is going to be though if he doesn't get Goodra back. Or maybe he will end up with three flying types/two dragon types in the end.

Hawulcha will take x2 damage from ice attacks since Fighting types aren't immune to them.

Ah, right. I was simply thinking that Fighting types are strong against Ice and wasn't exactly thinking the other way around (because damn if Ice moves ever actually take out a fighting type in general honestly). Still, it's not as bad as it's made out to be in my opinion.

So I was right about the Eevee it seems. I didn't think they would have an Eevee plush with all the pokemon who belonged to the main gang. My guess is that it is Serena's. But it may not be a Sylveon like everyone thinks. Although it is likely. Ones that I think we can count out though is Glaceon and Umbreon as they belong to Gary and May. Heck it could be Clemont's Eevee and evolve into a Jolteon, but Serena needs a 3rd pokemon.

Noibat might still be Clemont's or James'. I say this because Team Rocket's pokemon are also there. Including Goregeist which is now obviously Jesse's The Noibat would give James' his 2nd pokemon for the season.

It would be kinda annoying for Ash to have a Noibat, although I wouldn't mind it too much sense Hawlucha is mainly used as a fighting. Ash could catch Noibat, but trade it to Clemont possibly. But Clemont and Chespin seem to be too close to trade. Though it is possible.


I still think Ash might have troubles with Frogider/Greninja. I just wouldn't understand why they made Froakie do what it wanted in the first few episodes and then do what it wanted again without Ash commanding anything under the Vow Tree episode, even though Frogider was doing what it thought best. But why not wait for Ash to command it?


So this is my current prediction with the new most definitely confirmed pokemon by the end of the saga.

Goodra in training similar to Charizard as Charizard was a power house much like Goodra.

Honestly, at this point in the anime, I have no idea what Ash might catch, the only one that comes to mind is a Snover and possibly a Honedge. And we have yet to see any of the Honedge line play a part outside of the movies. If Ash was to catch a Honedge and evolve it, it would give him a powerhouse from hell. Even more powerful than Goodra. Especially if he uses the ability correctly. And in the anime, it would be very possible. Not only that, ash has never caught a steel type, a ghost type and a stone evolution pokemon, other than Pikachu. He caught haunter, but that was for like 1 episode and I am not sure he actually caught it. Not to mention that he could have a massive problem training a honedge to give more development to him and honedge. T

The only thing that making Noibat annoying for Ash is Hawlucha.
If the thing didn't existed on Ash's team then there wouldn't be any problem in Ash catching Noibat.
Not only Ash losing Goodra , He losing his chance for a Noivern because of Hawlucha.
1 Bat & 1 Bird is far better then 2 bird. Specially Since Ash's Bird pokemon has the most Blend personality and XY Series is no different.
Also There is no need for Ash to trade Noibat for another Oshawott , I rather prefer Ash trading Hawlucha ! Clemont also doesn't need any more Pokemon Since he get to keep Luxray.


Also , There no need for James to have any good Pokemon.
What the hack he will do with Good Pokemon ? Steal other trainers Pokemon.
Its a complete waste for any good pokemon to be captured by Team Rocket! Loser like them deserve Loser Pokemon!
Also , Its hurtful to Ash losing good Pokemon But its even more painful to see his sidekick & enemy getting better Pokemon then him.
Just think , We have watch other trainers with better Goodra that they will keep with them forever.
Then Goodra megevolution might get reveal which will make me feel even worst.
Plus , Iris will appear to rob her Dragonite on our face and She doesn't have to dump it like Ash.

I want evee to be ash's but i bet it goes like this:Ash: noibat, goodra is on leave but will come back, hence that guy who lives in the swamp. Noibat is a weaker dragon to use in the meantime, Not upset with this.
Serena: none, her team captures are spread out a lot.
Clemont: eevee, it's always with bunnelby, maybe love interest? But this could be a reverse dawn and maybe ash's instead.
However, while I believe it will be ash's, maybe noibat for james.

Honestly , I don't want Clemont to get any Pokemon considering he is the Core reason behind the Goodar Fiasco !
It already hurting that Goodra will leave !
But its even more painful watching Clemont catching a Noibat that could be Noivern Or a cool pokemon like Eevee! Its like rubbing salt into the wound.
There several reason Clemont shouldn't have any pokemon--

---He's a inventor , not a trainer

---Brock only caught 2 pokemon in Kanto So 2 pokemon should be okay for Clemont.

--- He's the core reason behind Goodra fiasco So he should pay a prize for it.

Plus , Its a pain in the ass to see Ash losing a Potential Noivern to Clemont , Serena & James Just because of Hawlucha !
Noivern is a far better pokemon then Hawlucha and its has a better Signature attack call ''Boom Blast''.
Hawlucha signature move is by far the most Stupid Signature move ! The Game designer probably didn't consider physic before coming up with such a stupid signature move.
Flying press is just a fancy version of ''Body slam'' ! And all sort of ''Body Slam'' attack depend on weight .
Hawlucha is 2'07 tall Pokemon with 21.5 kg weight .
A slam attack from that pokemon won't really hurt pokemon over 3'00 tall .
Plus , Its easy to dough and defend ! All a Pokemon has to do is point his fist toward Hawlucha when its using ''Flying press'' and Hawlucha will self KO itself.
The game may have ignore ''Physic'' But the Anime follows the rule of Physic .
If the Game wanted ''Flying press'' as Hawlucha signature move then they should have gave Hawlucha a 2nd evolutionary stage where its gain considerable weight & height for Flying press to work.
