The Random Pokemon Challenge

-Left for Coumarine City, Aqua Lotus evolving practically two steps out of town. Looks like the team is finally set and finished.
-Battled my rival by the gym, Sawk sweeping her with style. Then it was into the gym, with Vintage taking down all the gym trainers.
-Battled Ramos and won it shamefully easily, with Beast and Aqua Lotus wrecking his team. Oh, grass gyms..
-Wasted no time and heading into the Badlands, booting Team Flare out of the Power Plant with Ravage. Oh-so boss.
-Hit Lumiose and went straight for the gym, with Beast taking out the trainers and half of Clemont's team and Aqua Lotus finishing him off. We're on a roll now.
-Bee-lined for Laverre City, stopping at the Haunted House on the way. A little creepy. Only a little.
-Made it to Laverre, and into the gym. Fairy Gym, should be interesting. Ravage took a back seat and Vintage took point as we worked through the gym trainers. It was surprisingly more difficult than other gyms.
-Wandered aimlessly through the warp panels until I got fed up and looked up how to reach Valerie.
-Got to her, and spent a loooong time beating up her mawile with Vintage's rock smash. I'd break down her defense, she'd Iron Defense it back up. Not to mention Hyper Potions. Sheesh. But I was determined to bring it down with Vintage. Eventually Rock Smash and Leech Seed won out.
-The rest went more smoothly, with Aqua Lotus cleaning up with a mixture of Water Shuriken and Water Pledge. It was the hardest gym thus far. Good on her.
-Left off for now.

-Liberated the Pokeball Factory from Team Flare, no muss no fuss. Got the choice of a Master Ball or a Big Nugget. Chose the Nugget, because I like to live dangerously, and also I knew I'd get both.
-Trucked to Dendemille Town and raced through the Frost Cavern, saving the Abomasnow with style and class.
-Wasted no time and bobbled off to Anistar City. Mamoswines look rather painful to ride. So wide...
-Gave my rival Serena a fleecing, sweeping her with Ravage. She wishes me luck in the gym -Definitely not needed- and runs off. Maybe she'd be stronger with a mega-stone. Oh wait, I took it even though I'll never use it. Muahahaha.
-Entered the gym, and Ravage cleaned house with Crunch, up to and including the Gym Leader. Even though I use him so often, he still is the hardest to keep on par with the rest of the teams levels. Ohhhh well.
-Exited the Gym, and Lysandre called to tell us that he was going to murder all non-Team Flare members, so adieu. Like no big deal. What a psycho. And the race to stop him is on.
-Because I have no flyer (thanks for that, oodles of fun) I walked all the way to Lumiose and found their base. Gave Lysandre a beatdown with Aqua Lotus, and cleaned the base out. Buuut they activated the weapon anyway, and the Death Flower bloomed above the ground. Then it was off to Geosenge Town to stop the weapon from firing. Tried to get there by route of Cyllage City, but it was blocked off. Bah. Walked alllll the way around to Shalour and through the cave into Geosenge.
-Went into their real base, and gave Lysandre another beatdown. I admire his tenacity. Met AZ, listened to his story (buckle up, we're going on a feels trip) and met Xerneas! Caught it in my first timer ball, and sent it to the box. Here comes Lysandre again, rocking goggles and Dr. Octopus arms. Not cool, man. Swept his almost all his team with Ravage's Outrage-Persim Berry combo, but Gyarados was faster and Outraged Ravage right back. Then up came Beast, OHKO'ing Gyarados with Play Rough. We play to win.
-He had a fit and fired the weapon off anyway with himself still inside, and we high-ailed it outta there. So passes Lysandre, Leader of Team Flare. And on with the journey.
-Walked all the way back to Anistar and left for Couriway Town. Arrived and battled Professor Sycamore, knocking him flat. Wasted no time and headed for Snowbelle. Battled 3 of my rivals on the bridge, beating them soundly. I'm the bomb, like tick-tick. Anyway, it was on to Snowbelle.
-Bought a coat and knit hat while I was there. Seems odd to walk around winter wonderland in a cap and T-shirt. Went to Pokemon Village to find the Gym Leader, and find him I did. Stayed a bit to polish my catching skills on all the Banetts, catching 2. I just wondertraded them and released the weedle and diglett I got. Went back to Snowbelle, healing up and hitting the gym.
-Call Aqua Lotus the Janitor, because he's cleaning house. He swept the entire Gym, Vintage took out Wulfric Stormcoats Abomasnow, and Aqua took out the rest. Even OHKO'ing his Avalugg with Water Pledge. Eight Badges, check!
-Made my way to Victory Road. I guess I was overconfident at this point, because the trainers leading up to it knocked out quite a few of my team when I put myself deliberately at a type disadvantage. I checked my attitude and proceeded more carefully, making it about halfway through Victory Road before leaving off.

Called myself Random, and my rival Fixed. So imaginative...
Entered the tall grass and got dragged off by Prof. Oak to recieve my first Pokémon!
Took the Charmander, called him War.
Easily defeated Fixed's Squirtle.
Got the Parcel from Viridian City Mart and went back to give it to Prof. Oak.
Went into Viridian Forest and caught a level 3 Weedle, called him Sting.
Defeated my Rival in Route 22. Sting evolved into Kakuna.
Made it into Pewter City and healed my Pokémon before training them in Route 2.
Realised the Pewter Gym was going to be tough with my current party, so I evolved Sting and War into Beedrill and Charmeleon.
Managed to beat Brock with some difficulty and obtained the Boulder Badge.
In the PokéCenter outside Mt. Moon, I bought the Magikarp and called him Rage.
Trained Rage to level 15 while venturing through Mt. Moon.
PRAISE BE TO THE ALMIGHTY HELIX FOSSIL!
Made my way into Cerulean City, and healed my Pokémon for a much needed rest.

-Made it through the rest of Victory Road and healed up, stocking up on supplies.
-Threw on some music to set the mood, and entered the league. Here we go.

-Malva was first, but Aqua Lotus swept her pretty thoroughly with a mix of Water Shuriken and Water Pledge, only switching out to Beast for some variety. Beast OHKO'ed her Chandelure with Crunch, and that was that.
-Next up was Wikstrom. He was the hardest of the four. For the Klefki, I played the long game with Vintage spamming Rock Smash. Eventually, coupled with an early Leech Seed, he won out. Now to get down to business. Ravage bashed through the rest with Superpower. In hindsight, I coulda just used Sawk...
-Next up was... Uh, the Dragon one. I forget her name. Ravage swept 3/4 with Outrage without taking a scratch, then switched out to let Beast OHKO her Druddigon with Play Rough. No muss, no fuss.
-And last was Siebold. Vintage took down all but his Gyarados with Grass Knot, and Beast Outraged on the Gyarados until it finally went belly-up. Good thing it just Dragon Danced and nothing else.

Now, the Champion. Diantha. Her Hawlucha demolished Vintage in one Flying Press, which didn't surprise me all that much. Beast did the same right back with Play Rough. Sawk took down her Tyrantrum, but not before being taken down halfway with Dragon Claw. Ravage smashed her Aurorus with Superpower, then her Goodra with Outrage. But the Goodra got off a dragon pulse and took Ravage down to yellow. Then was Gougeist, and Ravage took it out with crunch, but got taken down to red. Then, her Gardevoir... Eeurgh. I tried to get a crunch off with Ravage, but her Moonblast was faster. Azrael was next. I saved him for this. He got off a Sucker Punch that took it down to red, but a psychic demolished Azrael flat. So much for him. Aqua was next, and managed to take it down with Night Slash. And that was that.
