GT Map Off 2021!

Wowie!
Welcome to The 2021 Get-Together Map Off, where your goal is to make a mountainous map!

The goal this time is to make a mountain of some kind.
To fit with the themes of Sky, Land, and Sea the mountain must contain a Summit for the Sky, and some body of Water, be it a lake, river, waterfall, or whatever you can think of!

Just a small example including a water source, and a summit ~

This event will accept submissions from all types of maps.
ROM Hacking, RPG Maker, Essentials, PSDK, MS Paint, Aseprite, Tiled.
If you can map in it, you can use it!
Creativity is the aim of the game here!
This event is for anyone, if you're a beginner who wants to practice, or a experienced person who wants to show off your skillz.
Or, even if you just like to map, or wish to be a part of an event!
Come one, come all!

Now, let's talk rules!

1. Only One Map per user!
2. Brand New Maps only!
3. Don't use other people's work! Stealing is bad kids~!
4. Use public tiles with Credits and Permission!

The Judges, and How they will judge you!

The judges for this event are _pheebee, Inky, and Vendily.

They will use the following criteria:
Form and Shape:
What is the shape of your map? Does it look too basic? Is it more natural looking? Is it nice and open, or too small and cramped?

Theme Inclusion:
How well have you integrated the Theme of a Mountain with a Summit, and some form of Water Source?

Complexity:
How well have you used your tiles to create complex spaces?
But, have you made the map so complex it'd be impossible to play?

Accuracy:
Just standard Tile Errors.

The Point System:

Participating gives you: 50 Points.
3rd place gives you: 100 Points!
2nd place gives you: 200 Points!!
And, 1st place grants you: 300 Points!!!

Journey through earth to ride on waves
Journey through water to soar amongst clouds

Bird Pokemon at the summit:
- (No Fly HM) Flaps its wings. Gains no height. Looks very frustrated. Appears to be unable to Fly.
- (With Fly HM, but no Pokemon with Fly on the team) Flaps its wings. Gains no height. Looks very frustrated. Might be able to Fly with a tutor.
- (With Fly HM and Pokemon with Fly on the team) Flaps its wings. Gains no height. Looks very frustrated. Do you want [Pokemon with Fly] to help teach it? Yes/No
-- (Yes) Lifts off the ground after a half-hour of practice. Chirps happily. Flutters over to nearby rock. Pulls out something and gives it to you. (Acquired: Dig TM.)

Person on bridge: "Do you hear something? Sounds like something hurt below the bridge. Is there any way to get down there?



Person in Mountain Basement: "Welcome to the hot springs! Only allows Pokemon to get in."
- (With no Pokemon capable of learning Surf): "Doubts any of your Pokemon will like it, though. Try bringing a Water-type Pokemon!"
- (With Pokemon capable of learning Surf): "Oh! Looks like [Pokemon capable of learning Surf" wants to jump in."
-- (Yes) Swims around the warm waters. Splashes water playfully at you. Grabs an odd item at the far end of the hot springs. Hands it to you (followed by another splash of water). (Acquired Surf HM.)
-- (No) "Be sure to come back soon, then!"
--- (After acquiring Surf HM) "Feel free to keep that. Teaches your Pokemon how to carry you over water. Try it out sometime! Might be able to reach places you could not before."

Monster Pokemon below bridge: Suffered a nasty leg injury somehow. Winces upon attempting to move. Needs some kind of medicine.
- (With healing item): Do you wish to use [weakest healing item]? Yes/No
-- (Yes) Applies the [weakest healing item]. Moves its leg gingerly. Seems okay now. Gestures towards the nearby grass. Slides a thin object towards you. (Acquired Fly HM.)

Person in lower left Healing House: "Are you or your Pokemon tired? Here, have a rest." (Full heal.) "Use the computer too, if you want. No charge."

Person in lower right Shop House: Shop. Sells Pokeballs, Great Balls, Potions, Super Potions, status healers, and Revives.

Person in mountainside Book House: "Have you read the scroll at the top of the mountain? Proves handy to trainers like yourself...somehow."

Never created a map before. Whipped this up entirely with Microsoft Paint. Picked Generation 1 for simpler graphics. Fixes mistakes easier, ideally.

Me last night: Yeah with 20 hours to go let me just make a 96x68 map with probably a crap ton of tile errors (though I'm assuming trees near mountains cause shade)
