Need advice with making fakes.

Hello, I am interested in making a record of every card in the database. However, I prefer to just print the preset scans and just stick them to original pokemon cards or print out the preset back of the card. Now where can I find the highest quality/ sharpest card scans on the internet? Or rather, how do I resize the scans to 3.5 inch by 2.5 inch without having loss of quality and the words still remain readable. I tried with MS Paint, Word & MS Image Editor but no luck. Any special techniques?

You aren't trying to pass these off as real cards, are you? 'Cause that's illegal.

No. They are for my own personal use. I have no intention of selling/trading/playing with them.

PhotoPlus SE
GIMP
and... that's all I can think of at the moment. These are far more capable than Microsoft's stuff.
