rom not working

    each time i try to to run a hack rom like pokemon quartz i keep getting this message:
    no image found on zip file c:/WINDOWS/desktop/PKMNQUARTZ_FULL.zip and this one
    unsupported file: type:c:/WINDOWS/desktop/PKMNQUARTZ_FULL.zip

    i keep getting this on each hack rom. how can i play them

    im using the visualboy advance 1.8.0 beta 3

    You need to unzip the zip folders.

    Plus the rom hacks that you download aren't actually roms themselves, they're rom patches. You need to have the original rom that they were hacked from, and have the patch in the same folder as the rom. Both the rom and the patch need to have the same name. As in: "FireRed.vba" "FireRed.ips".

    All that information was in a sticky topic but I saved you the trouble. xD
