    • What's Happening in Roleplay?

    A lot! If you poke your head into the forums right now, you might notice we have some big things going on and some changes have been made recently. We're pretty excited for all of this!

    Happy Valentine's Day

    Come and check out Sapphire Rose's Valentine's Day event. Join a Pokemon Mystery Dungeon style guild and complete missions for Guildmaster Sapphy. Of course, it being February, there's a lot of Valentine's themed missions going around and it's up to you if you want to earn points by helping your employers find love or ruining their day.

    Where's Roleplay Casting Gone?

    Roleplay Casting isn't gone, it has been rebranded. We're bringing back the old Roleplay Theatre name - and for good reason. The section isn't just a place to sign-up for any open RPs anymore. The Roleplay Theatre is a place where you can not only make and join RPs, but also where you can meet your fellow RPers, talk about your ideas and your characters and get feedback if you want it.

    This has brought some other changes with it too! The section no longer has forum moderation turned on, for starters. That means that you can come in and just immediately start talking to people and making friends!

    We've also made an effort to make the reborn RPT as open to different types of RP as possible. Two person RPs on forum or Discord are an option! Short form and long form text RPs are an option! We even allow tabletop RPGs like D&D and Pathfinder to be hosted out of the Theatre now!

    And if the type of RP you want doesn't seem to be around? We're open to experimenting with new ideas. Come say hello in our lobby thread!

    Staff Shake-Up

    Okay, so this heading is a little dramatic. But, we do have a new moderator in the RP sections. Eleanor has joined our ranks. We're planning to host a lot more events, discussions and standard RPs this year, so having the extra pair of hands can only be a good thing!


    This is just the things we can tell you about now though! The year is just beginning. You can expect to see a lot of cool stuff from RP in 2022. You just need to poke your head in and take a look around sometimes. Newbies welcome!    ​
