  • If I were a member and mod slots were open I'd probably either go for Art & Design, Pokemon Clubs, Fan Club & Groups, Advance Generation, or Pokemon Trivia. And of course The Welcome Lounge since that was what I moderated before I got promoted. I love these areas, A&D especially as that was the first area I truly got involved with, and have always wanted to know what it'd feel like to mod them. Being an smod does mean you're a global mod but it's just not the same as being a moderator dedicated to a specific area, know what I mean?

As for who I'd want to work with... unnngh I don't know. </3 Hikamaru's dedication towards TWL is great but there's Ardos whom I have wanted to work alongside with on staff for a long time.

    *hint hint*

Aaaaanyways, I don't know to be honest since my activity tanked when I got to college so I don't know. I would say FCG since it's like the only section that I have been active somewhat consistently, and uh ORAS but I doubt that would happen this time around lol :)

  • I could take a mod position I'd probably like to mod The Roleplay Corner, although GC or D&D wouldn't be too bad either. The RPC is my home on PC really, I spend most of my time there as far as PC is concerned as it's a great little sub-community and something I'd really enjoy doing. The other two are because I enjoy interesting discussion, arguing for fun and learning about people.

People I'd consider good mod partners? Honestly the people already modding those sections are fantastic but if I were to exclude them probably Nakuzami or SV as far as the RPC goes. They are both very active and enthusiastic and we seem to come up with a lot of good ideas.

The only real change I would make would be to try and create more events for the section.
Keeping the RPA's going strong would be good too.

  • I only ever go to FG and PGC, and out of the 2 I'd pick PGC. It just seems like the place I can nerd out the most in. I'd also like to be a moderator at Pokemon Trivia, because I kind of want to boost its activity a little...it seems like a neglected room, in my opinion. :(

  • I'd fight for my FC&G position back ngl. lol.

In all seriousness, FC&G is pretty laid back and there's not much moderation that needs to be done. Only things you have to do is to keep your clubs clean and active, approve/deny clubs, and check on every club for any rule-breaking posts and all that. Because of that, I'd like to go back to it.

However, I'd also like to go back and mod TWL again, like my old mod days. That section drove me nuts in a good way, because helping newbies is something I loved doing, answering questions and posting in most intro threads. I wish I had that motivation again. My husband can be my partner, and together we will RULE THE NEWBIE WORLD.

Another section would be T&I. I love to nerd out about technology in general. That section needs more love, and Shining Armour can be my section partner. :D

  • Which section would you choose to moderate and why?
I would Moderate Pokemon Trade Corner since when I first arrived at PC that was my main reason for joining and my main thing I was good at. I feel that a spot as a Moderator would better fit me in Trade Corner not only because of past history but also it may reignite my spark for interacting with people, making new friends and wanting to trade more. I would also see it more fit for me due to the fact I always play the newest/latest Pokemon game out. So instead of being a moderator of say "Pokemon X & Pokemon Y" where when Pokemon Alpha & Omega comes out in November I will be playing them and would no longer have interest in Pokemon X & Y. As a Trade Corner Moderator I would always have a spot.

Who would you like to moderate alongside if you got to choose a partner?
I haven't interacted with a staff in months, maybe even a year on a friend level so I have no clue really.

What kind of additions would you like to have made to that section/what kind of events would you host?

I would try to spice Trade Corner up a bit more with staff interaction. I think maybe some type of weekly even that I could hold such as Raffling off a Pokemon, or have a Pokemon Hunter in where people had to search for a certain Pokemon catch able in current generation with a certain ivs or something of such nature or route.

I think I would choose to Moderate the Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire section because I just really enjoy Hoenn

Who would you like to moderate alongside if you got to choose a partner?
Well, the Moderators there are already pretty good, so I think I'd choose one of them.

I would like to leave the thread that links you to other popular threads in that section. It can really help people not make topics already done, and help newer users find some discussion there

I'd like to be an S-mod and help out in a more general manner, and with the decision making of higher staff. I'm not dedicated to any particular section enough to be a normal moderator, although I would go for CF&S if I could.

  • If one of the worthy ORAS regulars was chosen instead of me, I would want to head Culture & Media with Dave. It's one of the few sections where I feel extremely comfortable in and I don't really have to think about it when I post around there.

I want to work with anyone that's willing to work with me :]

Not gonna answer the last part because it's late and I don't want to even use any of my brain power right now. You can thank my 3 hour SAT class for sapping my energy and substance.

I can't really imagine myself in any section other than A&D. I love it there, after all. It's sort of the perfect mood and pace for me. If I absolutely had to choose another forum, I honestly don't think I could. And were that the case, I'd honestly feel my particular set of skills would be best applied to a smod position. Keeping a pulse on every forum as a whole and handling member interaction, or putting all of my energy into one section, are tasks I feel I can easily and happily do. Put me in two or more forums with no partner, and I don't think I'd operate as best as I can.

I would love to have a mod partner though, and by best year in A&D was spent working with Derozio (love you bae). Community and working together is what PC, specifically places like A&D, is all about! And I feel forums really flourish when two or more mods can have that open communication and share in making their forum even better.

As for things I would change? Posting at least 99x as many events. I want A&D to be an absolute festival for anyone at any skill level, where even the more green of artists can truly shine. I wish for A&D to be like the Get Together year round for members to come and post and just have a hell of a lot of fun. That's what I'd like to see.

  • First thing's first, good luck getting modded on a forum where the entire staff got fired. That leaves no higher staff to vote for anyone to become a mod. lol

I would just go after Challenges again. And I guess Advance Generation as well since Dusty isn't in there anymore (but wait in this situation no one is there oops). I don't know if I'd want all my old extra bells and whistles though.

edit: was i supposed to go after smod again in this situation lmao oops

Steve awaits the suck-ups! I'm first in line, hehe.

In all honesty, given I'm not really active anywhere in particular and that the whole staff-cult thing is rather annoying (think Christian fundamentalist annoying, or for you tech folk Maccie annoying - you'll know it!) - I would pick T&I simply by virtue of how it is right now. Gadgets and gizmos and Macintoshes and tablets and "smart" phones and iGarbages are so trivial to the potential of the semiconductor that I hate being near serious discussion about it. There needs to be another forum for that stuff and a separate place for actual tech talk between folks who know what they're looking at when they stare into the print of a circuit board and see something besides magic electrical particles. A place more like LTT and less like Yahoo Answers would be nice.

If the construct of the whole ascending-the-ladder were removed I'd be an administrator right off the bat. I have some really interesting things to say, and couple that with a businessman-like mind centered on productivity and success and less on emotion… ****. You're looking at massive free mental labor!

I would only be interested in General Chat, or super moderator.
