Typical before story note, this chapter's kinda crazy so I don't blame you if it makes no sense. I tried to throw more action to lead up to the finale so hopefully this is alright! Loads of dialogue, rainbows, godzilla sized creatures and the ocean appear in this chapter.
SQUIRREL MY PSYCHOPATHIC NEIGHBOUR: PART 3
Pachirisu, okay that wasn't so bad. I thought, watching the pokeball fly through the air. I mean all I have to do is just peck it proba-
A huge roar interrupted my thoughts. Looking up, I was met with a godzilla sized Pachirisu that peered down at me like I was some sort of acorn. It was roughly about the size of the Empire State Building and it hovered in mid air like its master.
What the hell?
"Well, whatcha gonna do?" Squirrel hovered down so he was just slightly out of attack range. "Either way, you're gonna end up as a squirrel's breakfast y'know."
For once the guy was right.
"Come on Aerodactyl, let's get out of here."
Aerodactyl stayed put.
"Shit. Don't tell me you want to fight that thing." I said, worried.
Squirrel watched us squabble. "Come on guys, I've already made 2,000 posts in PokeTrivia over here. If you're gonna argue, at least reply to the threads..." he whined.
"CAAAAW!"
Aerodactyl took Squirrel's moment of posting on Pokemon Trivia to start the fight. Though as we flew towards the possibly human and dinosaur eating Pachirisu, a thought hit me.
How strong would its attacks be?
"Okay Aerodactyl! I don't know what you learn other than Rock Slide."
Think self. What sort of moves would a pterodactyl have?
"Um... Earthquake?" I said, hopefully.
"We're in the sky, idiot." Squirrel's voice said from behind. "Pachirisu, Thunder!"
BOOM.
It was like dodgeball as we swerved one attack after the other. Aerodactyl seemed unfazed by the hundreds of lightning bolts that filled the sky though, still wanting to fight and prove himself.
Bloody pterodactyls.
"Alright, just hit it with a Rock Slide."
Aerodactyl complied though it did nothing. Throwing pebbles at the Pachirisu only seemed to enrage it more. Squirrel noticing this, grinned.
"Hyper Beam!"
... oh lord.
The next thing I knew and we were falling down through the sky, Squirrel and Pachirisu following behind.
"I feel liek I got 'it by a blody ainbow." I said as we fell upside down towards the Earth.
"You probably did." Squirrel's voice yelled from above.
"Piff foff sqwurl."
We were still falling towards the ground though Aerodactyl was still trying to regain its ability to fly. Noticing this, I decided to distract Squirrel.
"So nife day up 'ere..."
Squirrel laughed. "Yeah, you know what would make it better?"
"Pachirisu, use Hyper Beam again!"
This was the end. I was going to die to a huge laser of skittles and rainbows and there'd be nothing preventing the monster from missing.
WOOSH
Aerodactyl had finally regained control of its wings and narrowly tumbled us out of the way of an onslaught of lasers. Thank god that was a thing that didn't only happen in movies.
"Fo close. Good job 'dactyl."
"Pachirisu, Bullet Seed!"
At Squirrel's order, seeds the size of cannon balls began to rain from the sky like bullets fired from a machine gun.
"Pachirisu, Charm!"
I looked up as a wave of pink engulfed us. Aerodactyl had stopped completely in the air.
"Gotcha!" Squirrel said, grinning.
I watched as Aerodactyl began flying towards Pachirisu, lured by its charms. The ground was only a few metres off though I'd be jumping into the ocean. Then again...
I glanced towards the monstrous Pachirisu and the ocean.
Pachirisu.
Ocean.
Pachirisu.
"I hafe swimmin' in ta coad."
And leaving Aerodactyl behind, I jumped off its back towards the ocean below.
I could only hope that the guy wouldn't be insane enough to follow. After all there were some huge sharks in there.
... wait, huge sharks? CRAP
Maybe I should of tried and of fought off Squirrel instead. Now I was fighting sharks, water, the cold, a rainbow-affected voice and...
"INCOMING!"
I knew that voice too well.
Squirrel was coming and there was nothing to escape to except the ocean below.
