I'm interested in seeing where she'll end up once she gets an arc to flesh her out, which seems to be not far off. There have been a few little hints like
    Spoiler:

Either way, I'm interested in what she brings to the table more than any other character. I like most of the characters regardless. It's also funny seeing people dismiss her completely because of the failing Souma thing. They built her up to be a goal for Souma, one that's out of his league. There's also other stuff but I can't be bothered elaborating since it's stuff that you can probably find in one of the 100+ 'why do people like erina' threads on the internet. also don't talk muk about the bangs, those are godlike.

Hishoko's still the best though. Actually I don't know which one I like more, doesn't matter tbh.

I'm gonna hop on the puberty train here, *toot toot*.

PS, why do people say Nakiri is best girl when she is just a major rattataTsundere who
    Spoiler:
Her hair must be rock solid from all the gel she has to use on her bangs, that's not even cute smh.

Its because She so Bad & Hot that everyone end up liking her !
She's the character that everyone loves to hate!
After all , Honest & Friendly rival are boring ! Pokemon XY is a prime example of it.
Why do you think everyone thought Kalo Queen Aria to have an arrogant & rude personality ? Because everyone wanted her to be an arrogant Jerk to make The show more exciting.
Same goes with Sena (Hanngai) & Pacifica (Gravity Falls ).
Everyone simply want to see the Protagonist with lower status making The hot , Arrogant and rude Oju-sama fall for him.
Specially those Ojou-sama who believe themselves to be so great that no man is good enough for them.

I was mostly joking, lol. She's not a bad character at all.

    ...Danganronpa has a soundtrack. A good one. It's a game, y'know?

And yet ever since I randomly found the theme song to the show on Osu, I've been seeing the song everywhere, y'know?

It's in my Nico Nico Douga Medlies and Openings.moe, which isn't cool, y'know?

It's like it's overshadowing the game's soundtrack that's mostly in the show, y'know?

And what about the vocal songs from the game, like Saisei -rebuild- and Shukko -departure-? They're pretty great, y'know?

The worst part is that the song itself is a bastardization of the game's series theme, Danganronpa. It's not that good, but it's really catchy, so if you listen to it enough it'll get you hooked, y'know?

Worse, though, is that the show's ending theme is everywhere, too, but you never see the game's OST mentioned. Makes me wonder how many people played the games, y'know?

And if the vast majority of people did watch the show (which is very likely)...well.

    ...Well.

I mean, before it got an anime, I had never even heard of the franchise, myself.

I hadn't either :x I was surprised to find that the other game in the series(or one of the others? idk) is more popular than the one that got animated. I see a different one more often than I see the animated one.

Then again, I could be horribly, horribly wrong. I only watched like 2 episodes before I got bored and just couldn't deal with the art style :'(

^ That's just because Danganronpa 2's a lot better than 1. Which is saying something considering the first was pretty damn good.

Yeah, I kinda expect that much.

Danganronpa was never really the most popular series, especially not in the West. In pretty much any case I'm less than surprised when an anime-adaptation of a game is more popular than the game it's spawned from, especially when the game's following is mostly modest.

...Which is why something like this or Persona 4 being the basis for someone's opinion on their source is pretty dangerous. 'Cause they don't really compare to the original works. That's not my point, though- it's just sad how many people watched Danganronpa and didn't pursue the series in question- at least, not to the point that the game's OST would outdo...this. Especially for a game that's very clearly proud of its music.

Woo! It's happening again! This time with Dragon Ball :q
    Spoiler:

For some reference and something actually released, it's best to check out this episode of Sailor Moon that was reanimated from the ground up by several artists:
    Spoiler:

It's not by the same people, but it's the same idea. If you like Sailor Moon or, really, just want to see some cool animation shit regardless, I'd recommend watching it when you have the time. It's pretty impressive (And hilarious at times. Lookin' at you, Bob's Burgers Sailor Moon).

You know , Its amazing how many opening Yokai Watch created with just One "Pera Pera Po"--

    --Opening 2
    Spoiler:

    --Opening 3
    Spoiler:

    --Opening 4
    Spoiler:

Too bad , Since the English Dub will butcher "Pera Pera Po'' in their version of Opening! I don't get why the Dubber tries to dub the opening , Nobody gives a dam care about Opening line. I hate it when good Opening get badly edited for dubbing.

    Two things.

First, they do it for the sake of appealing to a demographic and making it fit in with the other cartoons on the channel to some extent. Having music with Japanese lyrics is undesirable for a number of reasons, from a corporate standpoint.

As for why they'd dub the opening...they don't, often. Generally they just make their own, as is the case with Yu-Gi-Oh, Pokemon, and most relevant, Youkai Watch. It's pretty rare when you get a kids show that straight up tries to simply apply English lyrics to the opening for three reasons. The first reason is that studios aren't always able to get (or don't want to use) karaoke versions of the original songs, and thus they have to redo the music for them as well as the lyrics (see the openings for Rurouni Kenshin and Yu Yu Hakusho, which sound noticeably different than their counterparts).

The second reason is, again, a matter of demographics. Giving shows theme songs that are similar to other cartoons on the same channel makes them fit in, because generally kids won't be watching them because they're anime and these shows don't try to present themselves as anime, so generally they go with whatever fits (For a wonderfully campy 80s-90s example, Dragon Ball, and for painfully MY EARS contemporary examples, Yu-Gi-Oh! Arc-V and Youkai Watch, both of which are catchy in the worst ways).

And the last reason is licensing. A good number of times studios just can't get the licensing to opening and ending themes, so they're either forced to create their own, redub them, or go without them.

    Pokestick good times.

This is a big one. Getting Japanese licenses for shows themselves is tough, but the accompanying music can be even tougher. Often a dubbing will have to replace the whole soundtrack, BGM and all.

Another thing , Nobody seem to give a dam care about "Character Development" in Youkai Watch!
The Friends of the Protagonist has no idea about Youkai despite appearing in all Opening & Ending While Jibanyan is basically Oshawott 0.2 that can talk.
But Everyone get so obsessed over the "Character development" in Pokemon , Digimon , Charlotte and all other shouene based anime.
If any character get less or more spotlight then everyone start fussing about it.
    I wonder Why ?
