I'm not being rude. Rather, you are being pushy. I would gladly make friends with you if you were a person who posted frequently in my section or discussed mutual interests with me. Just being on a list of friends does not do anything for an actual friendship- I am friends with so many more people here than my list indicates.

Why would I accept a request from someone I don't know, especially when my friends list is restricted to those I speak frequently and have enjoyable interactions with?
