I watched the occasional episode of the show on the TV before buying my first Pokemon game, Diamond, for Christmas the year it came out! :3

Well, the Kalos region gave us 69 new Pokemon. Or 72...one of those numbers. I wasn't bothered by the lack of new Pokemon because the idea of Mega Evolution kept me at bay aha. I predict in the next generations that there will always be under 100 new Pokemon :3

In 5 years time, I'll still be at University (hopefully) studying History with English Literature.

When I get Black, I'm going to go for Oshawott - his/her design and evolutions are awesome. If I then get White, I'm going to go for Snivy :3 This might change by the time I get the games aha.

Yeah, forgot about that. It's going to do amazingly well. If the sales don't match X/Y in the first couple of weeks, by the end of the Christmas season they'll be really high. Omega Ruby and Pokemon Black/2 are going to be on my list :3

I didn't really notice the lack of Fire Pokemon either. Well, it has been made aware to me now, but at the age of 10 I don't think I was paying attention to the amount of certain types aha. I did catch a Ponyta that I had in my party, so that added to my unawareness xD

I chose Fennekin. There wasn't any doubts for me aha! It's design is awesome and I haven't got a problem with my male Delphox looking a bit feminine. Next time I play through X, I'll use Froakie.

Awesome. I've heard a lot of bad stuff about Gen 5 to be honest, but everyone seems more keen on the sequel :3 Thanks for your welcomes everyone!

I agree with this post. I think that because it's on the 3DS, it'll do so much better than DP/BW did. 3DS always seem to nail their advertisement. A lot of kids end up having a 3DS for there first handheld console now, so the more new games out there, the more they buy aha.

I chose Turtwig. There were two reasons why: 1) Everyone who got the game that I knew had chosen Chimchar (because of Infernape) or Piplup (because of Empoleon) and I wanted to be different! 2) I genuinely thought he was cute. Little Turtwig eventually became Torterra and remains to be one of...

I would love for remakes of Diamond, Pearl and Platinum. Diamond and Pearl were my first Pokemon games, so the nostalgia would be slightly overwhelming aha.

I'm going to go with Omega Ruby first...I think. My mind might change once the games are released, but I'll probably end up with both eventually.

I haven't played Black/White so my knowledge of Unova Pokemon wasn't that great. So while playing Pokemon X I was swarmed with about 200 Pokemon I hadn't even seen in game before. I enjoyed the mix up of Pokemon from different gens in there :3
