Think of it like this. The purpose of the game is exploration, so try to make a protagonist that is focused on that. In Zelda, Link was a bumpkin exploring the grandiose nature around him. But with Pokemon, we are in modern civilization, at least that is how I feel. Maybe make it a past game, with someone who hasn't seen much of the world around him. Like a wild boy, or maybe a Pokemon.

I read your plot. it seems a tad dark for a Pokemon game. And not in the, realistic dark either, more the, let's make Pokemon sad and depressing.

Also, people seem to be a little confused about Poke-yen. Poke-yen was based off of the actual Yen, meaning that 300 yen is just 3 dollars.

It's quite basic really, there are those who don't give a damn about other peoples opinions, then there's those who are just plain stupid, that guy is both. Give it a few days and he'll likely give up.

I don't exactly know much about what you what to do with it, but I like it. Maybe the main character could have a Bulbasaur and use its Vines to traverse difficult regions, use Razor Leaf to carve paths away, and such. Maybe the player could be a wild human raised by Pokemon (And can talk to them) on an Island, but he soon discovers Human trainers coming to the island. He is picked up by a Proffessor studying the island, and takes him back to the main land.

SURE! What is the plot of it? I'm guessing that it is a Pokemon themed one, right?

Actually, I am. My dream job is to work either for Game Freak, designing Pokemon, or to work for TOSE. Sadly though, I doubt that either of these companies will hire me.

I sadly Don't have any experience in developing games myself.

It's been over a year since our last convo, but that green suits the Marvin Martian forumset well. I sure loved those classic Looney Tunes cartoons back when I was a wee kid.

I am so sorry you had to go through that. :( That is really rough. What is sad is the parents don't think about how this affects the kids.

I somewhat know what you went through. My mom and dad used to fight all the time and use me as leverage against the other (like try to get me on their side). My dad use to say that my mom was always brainwashing me and keeping me from him and other crap. I still have issues with my dad. We fought clear until my 22nd birthday. He has gotten better but is still doing the same thing at times. :( He has really burnt the bridge between us. I still love him because he is my dad but at times I wish he wasn't around because I am happier without him in my life. When he is around there always seems to be drama and lies.

I'm glad they moved back :) I bet spending the summers in Spain was awesome!!
