I finished the game in a little under 20 hours, due to massive no-lifeness :P
I am at 40 hours of gameplay now, hunting shinies like crazy (yet all I got is a shiny larvitar..)

Don't worry about the wait, ponyta doesn't take up much space and neither do any of the starters, so I don't get bothered keeping them at all ;)
