  • LOL The typos I made.

    I changed the tiles to FireRed's <3
    I'm trying to change the palette colors (as they appear creepy without changing the colors, hopefully doing this right).
    OMG That help is a bit too much! :') Thank you so much!

    This question might be weird, but is there a standard procedure, as in where and which part to begin?
    OMG! KazoWar, hahaha! Ahem. Thanks a lot that is totally helpful! *hugs tight*

    Let's see for Emerald, since I'm planning to make a Kanto game
    Spoiler:
    Let's see it's rather simple for HGSS:
    - Edit Lyra's back sprite.
    - Edit Lyra's Trainer Card sprite.
    - Edit Lyra's sprite when using a field move.
    - Edit Johto Pokédex

    Emerald needs to be a bit more detailed, so I'll tell you on my next VM. :)

    Oh some unrelated stuff, I'd like to rip some music from DS roms, since the OSTs aren't available anywhere. {XD}
    Oh hey Joe, is there a place where I can find a complete tutorial for HGSS and Emerald hacking? *pays they aren't complicated* I've only used simple editors like the Advance Trainer Editor for Emerald before. {XD}
    Let me add on: Pokkén is obviously aimed at the young adult crowd. Kids in Japan are focused on Youkai nowadays, Pokémon has almost no place in the hearts of children. Which isn't necessary a bad thing; they can finally focus on catering us! I'm feeling positive for Pokémon's future. :)

    According to an American friend, the young adult players in states are slowly but steadily rising. Seems like Pokémon ain't a nerd thing again. The power of nostalgia can be amazing! {XD}
    Is that an approvement? {XD} I've been playing since Gen I and tbrh, Gen I fans are being pampered too much.

    So they are officially making the primary audience as young adult now.

    I see GO as something that akin to PokéWalker or even Dream World, since it is mentioned that GO is connected with the core games in someway.
    I watched the trailer, I'm sure that is not how it is exactly gonna turn out.
    I'm thinking if the Pokémon are generated by AR codes like the 3DS Pokédex (Pro) and/or if this GO acts like a PokéRadar mixed with PokéBank.
    I have been actually expecting Pokémon to appear in our world after seeing and experiencing PokéAmie through Gen VI games (I even mentioned this thought a year or two ago from my old posts). However, nothing like real living forms as depicted from the GO trailer.

    I noticed the featured age demographics from the GO trailer and the exclusive feature of Gen I Pokémon.... Hmm.... Whaddya think?
    That makes you experienced already. :)

    I'd love to, but the hex code can be overwhelming. I've onky 'hacked' games with editor softwares, hahaha don't laugh at me. {XD}
    How long have you been editing? I think you look quite experienced (basing from your hacked game screenshots).
    I'm not sure tbh, iirc they require computer-text reading. You know those code thingys?
    Did you learn hacking by yourself?
    I wonder if it's difficult to hack? I wanna hack Emerald and turn it into Kanto, similar to your project. But with a whole new plot, involving the legendary and Mewtwo, expanding the Kanto dex (adding Smoochum, Sylveon, Electivire etc.), making the Gym Leaders engaged with the main plot.
    Oh yes please! I hope that includes the Emerald-based Kanto hack. I'm a fan of that game.~
    I know that wasn't intended as a joke, but I'm laughing at it.
    Hey Joe, thanks for uploading Drayano's Volt White and Blaze Black patches.~
    I wonder if the Slowpoke evolution glitch has been fixed or not? :)
