Whichever you choose, I'll be the first to join you my friend! An all vegan Thanksgiving sounds amazing. My cousins are vegan and they have been hosting holiday dinners for the last few years so they cook lots of meatless options, one of my cousins is known for her delicious limitation meatballs! My family eats in a potluck style though, with lots of people showing up with food of their own to add to the table, so turkey, honey ham and all that stuff is still on the menu. Thank goodness for macaroni and cheese, mashed potatoes, cornbread, sweet potato casserole and greens. You have to watch out though, I am from the south where meat is really heavy in the dirt, so sometimes people just throw meat into random dishes. So never let your guard down.
I hope our Clubhouse can stay too by the way. There are several members like us who feel passionately about it. The Help Thread has given me new ideas about how we can make things more active, and I would like an opportunity to implement that, rather than just kill the clubhouse-- which is I think what is at the heart of the discussion, whether clubs should continue to exist or not. It isn't just about the Clubhouse itself as a place on the forum I think, but whether we want to have as much of this kind of content on PC ad we do any longer, should we support for them or let them die is I think the real question. And you know how I feel on this. I'll fight for them.
Yes, you are right in general forum activity has slowed down, and participation has been an ongoing issue for pokecommunity over the years. I'd say it also happens to be a busy time of the year on top of that. I have talked to members and many are buried under school work, and clubs do take more time and effort than saying hey on the daily chit chat, that's what makes them special, because there is an ongoing dedication to something. I think when Christmas is here and students are on winter break and people who are working have some days off from their job, we'll get a bumb. I actually had a giveaway in mind and an end of the year event, and hope The Clubhouse will still be in swing so I can do that ^_^
While there is certainly room for improvement here, and I want to increase the activity, I also think there's a pitfall in measuring success just by the number of users posting. I think whether it is rewarding to the people regularly involved is also important, which is one of the reasons I wanted this to be a public discussion so I could hear any members who wanted to say something, whether it be good or bad, because it is ultimately all about you.
Peace and love my sister, I have been reading a lot of your posts in other parts of the forum and think you are really interesting. I'm glad I got to meet you through The Clubhouse.
