  • Good! Sorry I allways start with tiles for some reason(I once started a game with no story and just whatever came to mind was the story, it was so horrible...) But that's great :P
    Ah but the idea is really good and I know what I will be doing, I am going to see if I can insert tiles using linux(As windows is slow on my computer) Well anyone else helping?
    By hacks for PokeMMO do you mean actual hacks for the game (like cheating) or sprite/tile changing then patching then onto a firered ROM to play?
    Uh you can tell me anytime what tiles you want to use so I can convert them to 16colors and set them ready insert I don't know what else right now I'm sorta busy But I make things work out lol
    Hmm I don't really know much about the font sorry But I will look into it(not today but tomorrow for sure) The text box is possible, I do recall I tried it on Pokemon Ruby(with asm of course) But I also recall andrea(from the giratina hack) showed me how to implement a text box opaque which is transparent but with a hint of black so in other words just like in the second picture you sent me... It did make the script longer though, If you have no problem with that I guess I can ask him again

    I don't really recall which TIles I used because I made a couple of zelda rom bases I am not good at spriting but I could give it a try and whichever tiles you want I can recolor them(if they need too) I do want to join Im bored lol
    Anything graphic wisely. I mostly do tile inserting and making... I once did a zelda rom base err anything else I can is map and title screen inserting text box editing etc
    Alright, so if I got things right the Pokémon: Mewtwo Strikes Back hack was cancelled because of your computer with all the files crashed. Righ? Too bad, it really seemed like an awesome hack. I've been checking in on the thread once in a while since december, it took me a while to realize that it was closed, haha! Not that it really matters, but why wasn't the people following the thread informed? But that wasn't really why I came here, I came here wondering; is there somewhere I can get the rom? I mean, like a website? It would be cool to try it out, even though I understand it isn't finished. Will it ever be? Have you ever thought of picking up the project again? If so, you have my full support. I don't know much of hacking, but if you were to get it going again I would certainly help in any way I can.

    Just search for all the pbGraphicsUpdate functions, and check if the part they are in correspond to the part where you want your sprite to update. It all depends on how you want your system to work. I gave you all the information you need in that post, it is up to you how you use that information.

    Just a heads up though, you will not be able to make the sprites animate during BattleBox animation (such as HP and EXP change). The BattleBoxes are a separate class, meaning you cannot use the same functions, under the same variable names. I re-wrote the (visual) battle system from scratch. Even small things such as this aren't as easy as everybody makes them out to be (if you want it to work properly that is).
    Ok thanks for the response. I am sorry that I am slow to respond, but I really am trying to focus on school right now too. It just hard trying to juggle both at the same time.
    On the older tutorial for unlz the offsets that you gave were off for the deep scan for the intro trainers. You might want to change it because I keep on running across it. I really would like to learn how to edit the palette for those intro characters, but whenever I try my game crashes....
