Just search for all the pbGraphicsUpdate functions, and check if the part they are in correspond to the part where you want your sprite to update. It all depends on how you want your system to work. I gave you all the information you need in that post, it is up to you how you use that information.
Just a heads up though, you will not be able to make the sprites animate during BattleBox animation (such as HP and EXP change). The BattleBoxes are a separate class, meaning you cannot use the same functions, under the same variable names. I re-wrote the (visual) battle system from scratch. Even small things such as this aren't as easy as everybody makes them out to be (if you want it to work properly that is).
