If your talking about how Cyan sound's familiar with Hyetology, the day that chrunch posted the thread was back in February so it's more of a coincidence.
I'm actually gonna start playing 2Awesome (even though Hyetology is coming in June) the only thing that bugs me is the vietnamese crystal reference ''WILD (Whatever) JUMP OUT" and such like that.

because i was fickle and made an alt account and had all my emblems transferred to that alt but then changed my mind and a mod transferred them back but it didnt retain the date :)

Personally, I think that tie ins and references are good for a small amount of time, eventually they will get outdated and confusing for new players after a while. This is even worse with in jokes, which rarely happen.

They may work like that, but to me (and this may just be my over pickiness about how Ruby tiles should be used) it just looks wrong and cut off.

Also, I watched it and missed the text where it says that, so I must be blind. Either way, will people really make the connection?
