I'm just saying, but vanilla Diancie is better off as Relaxed so as not to hinder either offensive or defensive stat, given that it has physical and special STABs, while its Speed is already garbage. Mega Diancie, on the other hand, should be Naive or Hasty to take advantage of its mixed attacking prowess and significantly improved Speed.

Zen Mode Darmanitan is nothing but a gimmick. Zen Darmanitan's marvellous defenses are outright wasted when the Pokemon itself is at 50% health or less.

I can assure you the Diancie WILL be there. If for some reason it isn't, I have numerous Japanese Diancie that CAN be traded. I can even get you a spare code; I plan to visit some EBs for codes, but not sure whether I'll be able to input more than one into the game or not. (RNC had a full box, so I can't understand why I only got one Gengar unless the codes were deactivated before the end of the promotion.)

If you're extra paranoid and have a Power Saves, back up your save before doing stuff. But I can guarantee you the Diancie will still be there. Here's how. On the Card Album, it will tell you that you have either "picked up your gift" or ask you to "Please pick up your gift" "in any Pokémon Center". I have three events that are still begging for pickup. They date back to August 25, where the Mega Stone code was entered. The Heracross I never picked up from August 19, and I even shifted that card to slot 6 so I could get the Gengar before it (someone wanted a Brave one, so I went to get a Brave one). I also have a Supersize Pumpkaboo on standby for pickup dated October 18.

So the Diancie will still be there. Don't you worry about it. And it will be tradeable at some point; I think Nintendo's just trying to exert control, and at some point it has to go to OR/AS, so it can't be untradeable forever. I'm reading a Jirachi event also had trading problems, so it's not new; perhaps Nintendo just hasn't updated the filters yet for events other than the Japanese and Taiwan, etc. ones.

Let me add to that. You can even influence which event you receive when you want it by arranging the Wonder Cards. You have an unreceived Gengar but want to deal with Diancie first? Arrange them. Get the right Diancie, save, then deal with Gengar.

Glitch?

I still have numerous unreceived events. As long as the Wonder Card doesn't go from unreceived to received status by some voodoo, you're in the clear. She will stay there, and I wave at her every time I wander over to the Rater without stopping to pick up my gift. She will still have it.

Personally, I'm happy with a 5IV spread. It doesn't have to be perfect, but if I can get 5IVs in something, I can then breed for 6IVs later one at a time and go in Dex order.

But that said, I am still working on getting 18 more species in the Safari. Had a better day today than expected on my Safari Dex, stumbling last nite upon someone with BOTH missing Flying types, then went Togepi hunting this morning and ended up at Reddit. Reddit guy hasn't added me yet, but I don't care; I checked someone's Safari at Neoseeker and the first thing I saw was Togepi. Later, the female hunt was complete (12.5% is LONG, I've done it with Eevee, starters, the Pan trio, and more). Fairy complete! Riolu came along, also rare in females, and I completed that female collection! I then looked at the Safari thread and found Muk and Garbodor in a Safari; I still had a Garbodor Safari, but no HAs, and Muk was the only missing species, so that is now complete!

My Safari search is down to two Normal types (I have HA Audino, but want to catch a trio the same day, so need a new Audino Safari among that, Dunsparce too), 3 Dark types (have Absol and Mightyena on add requests, missing Inkay), two Electric types (Electrode and Galventula, the former missing HA and the latter only caught in HA, again needing fresh sets), two Fighting (Mankey and Meditite, one I think in hand again but missing HAs), four Grass types (these keep eluding me, I'll be using the Safari list soon), Duosion for Psychic (going to clear this ASAP), two Rock (Rhydon and Nosepass, I've seen both in Safaris but never get added), and Bronzong for Steel (asked someone at GameFAQs, don't expect to ever hear from him), and Poliwhirl for Water (asked someone here, awaiting response). And I'm done. :)
