I didn't know they've been implemented - I guess I'll jump into a private match tomorrow to check the effects. I didn't really see the point of the nerf either; people complained too quickly about the Famas and it really wasn't that overpowered in my eyes. The only positive aspect is that it should encourage more diversity with weapons as people who used to use the Famas exclusively will try to find an alternate weapon.

I officially sign out tomorrow. It feels weird, doesn't it? I don't feel like a sixth-form student - part of me still thinks I'm a year seven. :(

Speaking of the Famas, what do you think about the planned updates to it on Black Ops?

I can understand your mindset and maybe that's where I'm going wrong - I'm treating them like fully automatic weapons when they're not. I will take your advice when using them next time and try and see if my results improve. I remember you used to a play on a six sensitivity, why did you cut down?

I guess I just prefer the automatic weapons because they're easy to use and don't require any special circumstances. The burst fire and, to an extent, the semi-automatic weapons are too reliant on getting the first shot off. If you get the first shot off and place the shots or burst accurately then you'll win the gun fight, however if you miss you're pretty much doomed. It rewards extremely accurate players and unfortunately I still see myself as learning the ropes on Call of Duty so I don't consider myself to be too accurate. Not to mention I play on a 2 sensitivity.

My exams aren't done yet. Technically they are but I have one resit left (I did one today and I have one tomorrow). Then my exams are completely finished.

So Stopping Power only affects it at long range? I guess it's a suitable trade off with a different second tier perk form three shots at long range instead of two. I would still used Stopping Power though - I need as much help as possible, especially with a semi-automatic weapon.

I thought the FAL with the Holographic Sight still needed Stopping Power to be a two shot kill at all ranges? But that's an awesome comeback right there - a prime example of killstreak importance in Modern Warfare 2. :)

Oh definitely. The killstreaks were such a prominent and powerful part of the game that it's probably the biggest reason why people act obnoxious in Modern Warfare 2 and, in some cases, Black Ops. Who can blame them though? Killstreaks are the most consistent way to do well in the game so people will do whatever they can to obtain them.

Ha, I love the AC130. Something about raining hell to the enemy team in an awesome explosives shooting monster makes me feel so good when playing. The UAV is such a good killstreak though, especially in Free-For-All.
