Hey I'll be you opponent for PCL week 5. When do you think you'll be around and want to battle?

yeah. it's happened quite a few times in the span of like.... almost 5 years actually damn. but as people come and go things shift. for example 'the one above' and 'ban the person above you' threads over in playground used to be really popular but not so much anymore. and tcti used to need a new thread every few months as well.
yeah went was just thrown in there when he demodded himself tomod but they didn't allow that to be the case for long haha. :b it would be interested to see the underground as its own section but at the same time i feel like that since mafia is basically a type of forum game it just kind a belongs in the playground?? or smth like that. as for the drama there was some dumb drama with my pair who wasn't too pleased with me becoming a mod, but the drama that I was promoted long after for was this guy who was basically stalking and harassing another member who didn't want to be his friend anymore (for good reason too ugh). got him banned and then promoted over there not long after (about two months after being PT's mod).

Yeah. the playground chats used to be fun but even I can't seem to really merge myself in those anymore myself and they used to my main activity points. just shows how things can change hahah.
and yeah, i believe that the people over there are. the regulars in dltms0 don't really go anywhere else in the playground which would be part of the reason. as for the number of mods netto has been its mod since like... 2009. i became mod back when playground was super active and where was some drama going out, and don became it a bit ago because he's been in playground for a long time and honestly should have become a mod there a long time ago. playground is still fairly active though with the underground now around i tend to leave playground to netto and don and i mainly watch over the UG now.

Yeah. The point is to make every thread a mini DCC, but what happened over in Treehouse was just... overboard. But I still believe the intention is right. As for WofG I'm stillin the belief that it'll be okay as long as the regulars come around. as for new people well i mean it's with the other games. people will get curious and drop by. it doesn't need to be a dcc especially when we have another game just likeit. just with different numbering counts. as long as we keep the chatting going it'll beokay. i mean... the bulbasaur race, while less active, was ableto carry on regular non-bulbasaur race conversations so why can't wofg.

and, let's be real, both games are much easier to jump into and have a conversation with others than tcti and dltms0 over at the playground. :b

the fact that they're so popular is why were trying to get rid of them haha. we're trying to see if more activity will be brought to theother threads and there be more chitchatting in those rather than just post and go all the time.

though i think the treehouse is a colossal mess right now maybe once it chills it'll be more like intended :b

haha no. it's actually pretty much something that's happening pc-wide the treehouse is a good example since they got rid of their dcc sooner than i thought they would.

to be completely honest, i find conversing in English to be very easy - in fact, i'm currently part of an international curriculum in university, so even in my daily life i speak English more than Dutch. so to me, switching to Dutch may be more trouble than it's worth simply because it'd require an extra switch xD but really, i don't mind switching to Dutch at all, since i should keep my Dutch level up to par as well of course, haha. so let's do that!

hm, ik wist niet dat je met scheikunde nog zoveel kanten op kon. management en journalistiek zelfs. cool! maar ik ben het met je eens dat die richtingen me niet echt het meest aanspreken. ik neem ook aan dat je scheikunde bent gaan studeren omdat je interesse hebt in de technische kant, om dan daarna journalistiek te gaan doen is wel apart. wat is 'physical chemistry' precies voor focus? ga je dan de natuurkundige kant op, met kinetiek en thermodynamica etc?
qua andere hobbies - ik heb een tijd kendo gedaan, maar daar ben ik nu eigenlijk van afgestapt. dus... nu doe ik eigenlijk niet echt aan sport. ik probeer hardlopen erin te krijgen, maar ik heb nog niet zo'n motivatie om het daadwerkelijk drie keer per week te doen, haha. daarnaast natuurlijk hobbies als videogames, anime, en PC c:
