They're so great! I loved carrie's book bc I feel like it's so rare today to see a musical movement come out of location like the Seattle/Olympia punk scene. And I definitely will :)

I have house of leaves! I plan on reading it later this year. And led zeppelin, Keith Richards, Anthony Kiedis, Aerosmith, Patti Smith, Eric Clapton, motley crue, slash & Carrie Brownstein. I'm sure I have more but that's it off the top of my head.

Exactly! And oh man, I actually really understand that because I got about 2/3rds into 1Q84 before having to put it down. I want so badly to finish, but I don't remember too much about what happened. Still definitely worth a shot though! It's really good. That sucks, but at least you'll have it again soon :)

Hmm, I'm kind of all over the place. I love Fitzgerald, I own quite a few Great Gatsby editions. I also enjoy ASOIAF and The Book Thief. I also have a mini library of musical autobiographies :) hbu?

Also I just remembered: Dan Simmons & the Hyperion Cantos series was a wild, really well written ride. And I'm currently finishing up my first full read through of the HP series. Which I love.

Most of his books end up being a really beautiful blur, but Norwegian Wood is one I still really remember clearly. I highly recommend Wind-Up Bird Chronicle and I'm almost positive you could finish After Dark in a day. Hmmm, sounds like we'll have to get Operation Get That Book Back up and running then! D:

Surprise releases surely have been a thing, because I recall that album Beyonce released a couple of years back, and now James Blake has just released a new album that was also much sooner than was previously expected, at least for this year.

Apparently I heard that the album is going to be out around tomorrow, UK time. Definitely didn't expect it to be that soon.

It appears we are both in Radiohead hype mode. When I heard that new song Burn The Witch for the first time I was like "since when did a Radiohead song get this epic?".
