I was just playing the Smash Bros. demo. So addictive. Though some call it boring with only five characters. Not dedicated to the art.

I think there's been some sort of a confusion, haha.

Sub leaders are only supposed to sub when the leader they're supposed to sub for is not around. Cyclone is around and very much active, so I suggest you work out something with him.

Also I live in the same time zone as Cyclone, there's almost no difference in the time difference between you and him and you and I, haha.

Has it been four days? As I understand it, the grounds for a sub is that the leader you're trying to get a battle with has to have had not responded/attempted at communication for 4+ days.

Cyclone seems pretty active, he battled me for my badge just last night.

Keep in mind they don't have to be trained to Lv.50. They just need to know the moves. Use Heart Scales in some cases as a final evolution might be able to learn a move that way, as well.

The 24-hour wait to rechallenge expired at 9:51 PM yesterday, so whenever you are ready you can definitely have a rematch!

Good, that gives you the entire gamut of options. If you do change your team, you'll need to update that. My Tyranitar is extremely fast, with a 31 IV and max EVs in Speed; that means, despite a bad 71 to start off with as Mega Tyranitar, it can now outspeed anything with a base Speed of 115 or lower, even those with a positive nature enhancing the Speed. And Greninja is lightning quick except when taken out with priority moves; Speed is its best stat, and it also has the 31/252 set on it, so you will likely not be able to outspeed it for the Surf (Rhyperior) and Ice Punch (Salamence), among other things. You'll have to get crafty to get them out. But that's what the challenge is, to figure out how to deal with a good team of well-crafted Pokémon.

Keep in mind, with the same team, you can actually build multiples of the same species and swap them in and out; only the species have to stay the same. So you don't have to wipe out all your work on your current six; feel free to build others and interchange them. :)

Correct me if I'm wrong. You haven't won any Badges yet, right?

If you want to switch members of your team, you can still do so without penalty. Just giving you that advisement if you think changing a team member might help you out. Once you've won at least one Badge, that is not available. :)

Speed was something I put a lot of effort into, and Rhyperior I think is the slowest member of your team, so having access to Steel, Ice, and 4x Surf makes it a sitting duck for me to pick off. I like Rhyperior myself, but the Speed is a heavy detriment to a team like mine.

I was surprised you didn't Mega Evolve Gyarados since it's the only member of your team with that option. I predicted Mega Evolving and a Dragon type move, which Sylveon is immune to, so I could throw out a Moonblast or Draining Kiss (likely Moonblast) on the next turn. Waterfall and NO Mega Evolution got me by surprise and siderailed Sylveon without a move. You caught me there. :)

Thanks for the match! Started out even, but in the end your remaining Pokémon had weaknesses and were slower than mine. I think the speed is something to work on for the rematch. Looking forward to it. :)
