For the first round it's just random, but after that, I'm using Challonge which will pair people up depending on points for every subsequent round.

The thing about Round Robin is, 7 rounds could take quite a long time. Swiss for 8 people usually is 3 rounds, and then the single elim for top 4 if we want to do that.

I was thinking doing a Swiss tournament, which is how they do it at my locals. So you get points for wins and draws (which there shouldn't be any), so people who get more points get paired to duel in later rounds. After however many rounds it could just end with the points leader, or they could play out top 4 (or whatever number depending on participants) single elimination style.

We could do those things. When were you thinking about doing the tournament? Maybe just wait until we have 8 or so people, then let them conduct their matches on their own time?

Yeah I've definitely wanted to host one, and we've brought it up many times, I just don't know how responsive people will be in a certain timeframe (like this weekend for example).

No, but if you traded them to GSC you could see their genders. Since I don't have a Japanese GSC I checked a DV/IV checker for GSC to see what their genders would be based on their Attack stats. Ivysaur and Pikachu are male, and Clefairy is female. Makes sense I guess. XD

So I wanted to check my Pokemon's Genders from Green and went ahead and checked all their stats other than just attack.
Dv Checker: Pikachu cannot have 47 HP at level 18. Please check the stat range.

Well, and I don't mean this in a bad way, but although archetypal, in terms of the meta, a lot of the decks we both play are pretty random.

And I haven't decided if I like Yuki or not, the effect still goes off so I guess depending on the meta, it could possibly be better or worse than Veiler.

Karakuri definitely are consistent, at least against me. BW I can't recall since I face the AI a lot so I'm probably confusing those matches lol. But all your Stardust decks consistently get out the big boss monsters (Quasar, Assault Mode).

And all the decks you mentioned of mine are pretty much meta lol, so that explains any good matches I may have. Summoner from testing has been pretty good, I get out Gaia Drake, Bloom Diva, Exterio, or Warrior from another Planet and it's usually gg. But as with Jackpot 7, irl testing hasn't been as kind haha.

Yeah I've had enough losing for one day hahaha. But yeah it's scary how consistent your decks are. I had like 5 games and I couldn't get the Summoner of Illusions off even once lol. There's always next time though!
