No, not NYC... the boring wasteland that is upstate New York. It's totally different, like night and day. I've been to NYC a couple times and there's at least stuff to do there... the part of New York State where I live (about 4 hours away from the big city)... there's nothing but farms, forest, and wilderness. So boring it'll drive you mad.

No, you're the lucky one here, lol. Snow is absolutely dreadful, I wish we could go a year without ever seeing snow at all... sadly my parents chose to live in New York instead of Florida... even going to college in North or South Carolina it would snow at least once or twice...

Nope, they're not sisters, but I like Leaf's design so much I designed my own role playing/fan fiction character after her :) And they are good friends, for the record. Lisa's not your average trainer, she's a rich girl from South Carolina in the USA who's just as interested in math and cars as she is Pokemon :) I wrote down some details about her here and I've written a couple stories featuring her... if you want to read be forewarned that one of them is EXTREMELY long... but I can send you links to them if you want :) Just let me know.

Yeah, well unfortunately I don't think I'll ever grow to like him... I still blame him for Leaf not appearing in any other Pokemon game... and I still look for arts featuring Leaf alone :P

Alright, keep me updated on the game... does that site have a return policy? A couple years back I had to deal with a situation on Amazon where I bought a DS Lite from a seller through them and the seller never even sent out my order. Fortunately Amazon refunded my money. Usually a telltale sign is if the box for the game doesn't look like the official box that Nintendo sold it in. Another is if the cartridge itself is a different shade of red/green than the original, or if it's transparent... Ruby and Emerald used the transparent cartridge plastic, not FR/LG.

Uh oh... confession time... I absolutely hate Red, I think he's a jerk and a complete fool. Because of him, Leaf never appeared in HG/SS, which still angers me to this day... I don't like any of the "couples" pics because Leaf deserves much better than any trainer - like a mega-rich CEO, for instance :) But yeah, don't get me started on Red...he needs to keep his slimy hands off her!

Yeah, though, just be very careful when ordering stuff like games online... some of them are bootlegs or have been hacked to death by cheating devices. Look at seller feedback if ordering off a site like Amazon and eBay, and buy only from those who have a long history of good service.

BTW, have you seen any pictures of my self made trainer character, Lisa?
