  • Thanks for the welcome back. I wasn't terribly active way back then but I finally remembered my login details and decided to give it another shot. And I spent a stupidly long time trying to find the perfect picture/signature combo :P
T&T for sure too; Case 5 in particular was sooo epic! <33 But yeah, I'm loving the others too; you should definitely try Miles Edgeworth's games when you get the chance. They're also quite fun!

Who are your favourite characters? o: Or do you like em all? :3

(ps I'm giving you something specialll)
which AA game is your favourite? <33

And yeah, pheonix's ancestor! It'll be so awesome looking. :3
omg where have you been all my life! I love ace attorney too~ <33

    of course you'll do great!

and yeah, I have a job already, just looking for a long term career!

My day was pretty good! Just busy with work, blah.
(Btw I hope you like ace attorney gifs, haha)
Good luck on your exam dear! If you think you did great, I'll shower you with gifs <33

Well, in a nutshell, they use all sorts of sciences to produce, transform, transport, and properly use chemicals, materials and energy. Like, you know how there are things that run on solar paneled stuff? These guys do that~

Also sorry I didn't get back to you sooner. Was sooo tired, blah ;___; But I hope your day was great!
ack, forgive me, I totally missed your VM ;___; I do IT work currently, and I hope to do some chemical engineering stuff soon.. but yeah!

Also hi! I hope you're doing well. <33
    A
why couldn't that have been his stand ability
Serieus?

heart <-- heartHey shut up I needed to fill a spot okay? I didn't know what else to put!

Yeah but not everyone will have one, and Gunner definitely won't change XD
    ... Sorry >_<
And isn't it just perfect? There is no flaw in the gif, it is perfectly looped.
...okay. xD I'm thinking I might have know that actually. What a small world we live in. Are there so many then? Aside you now I only know Ice and Yoshikko. Shall we switch languages to Dutch or aren't you a native Dutch speaker? If it's not necessary, why would we want to make our lives a just that little harder?

I have no idea what I want to do with it, maybe indeed research at an university or company or teacher. There are also options for management or journalism, but I'm not really interested in those two. There's still two years before I have to make that decision, now it's just choosing subjects for a bit. I'm probably going to focus on physical chemistry. I probably can't say what research really is like before my bachelor internship.

Do you have any sports or other hobbies?
Most of our conclusions from the articles included: "Not many measurements have been done yet, so we can't really such much about this." Every group had this. No, I can't say I find it interesting, but it's less work than most other subjects, so it's okay.

Each of the practicals I've had has a completely different style than the others. Chemical Analysis was mainly solving a mixture, diluting it, analyzing with UV/VIS spectroscopy, plotting results and determining the original mass as accurately as possible. Project Biochemistry had things like analyzing protein fractions in different parts of a liver and pieces of DNA by PCR and electrophoresis. Project Reactions and Kinetics was more varied, separating substances and performing reactions like substitution, addition and elimination. Hereafter the products had to be analyzed on purity by IR spectroscopy, NMR, gas chromatography or thin layer chromatography. Current practicum is thermodynamics in which we have to prove the Nernst equation for example. We measure things like voltage caused by a different salt concentrations, melting trajectories of mixtures and internal energy and enthalpy of an acid/base reaction.
I have no idea how much of the part mentioned above is familiar to you, so feel free to ask if you want an explanation.

Well... it looks like I've been using both. I'm pretty sure my teachers use both words, but I decided to check it. Google Translate recognizes 'practicum' as 'a practical section of a course of study', so it's definitely a word, but 'practical' works too. I'm Dutch, so it's not like English is my mother tongue. Where are you from then?
It wasn't even a research (unless you count getting information from an article (often one from thirty years ago) a research. The subject is strange, it's called Environmental Chemistry and Sustainability but doesn't have much chemistry at all, mostly society and a bit biology (bio-accumulation and such).

I have no idea if I would be able to handle practicals with prepared bodies. Okay, I have had something like that with doves and an cow's eye, but those are non-human and mainly a lot smaller. (Also my mind was thinking those were only representatives of real eyes/doves, but very accurate ones. I don't know why, but it probably helped.)
I have practicum two days a week, but in this semester one of the two is analyzing measurements on the computer. I like them, they show there's more than just theory. (In the thermodynamics practicum none of the experiments give results completely matching to the theory, which is a little frustrating.)

Being a waiter isn't that interesting, it's bringing drinks around mostly. But having some work experience is probably practical when you're looking for a real job later, it gives the possibility to say you've actually done something, although it should be pretty easy to find a job with a Chemistry degree from what I've heard. How's that with Medics?

When you don't have time for a job, do sport much then? Or do you have other time-consuming hobbies?
