Well, thanks for replying Virtual Headache. This is crazy to me, haha. There doesn't seem to be a straightforward answer. If anybody else can help us figure this out, that'd be awesome. Maybe it depends on how much you play? Hours-wise. How many hours did you think it took you to get there?

Well, Serebii also says that not talking/battling with the trainers makes them leave. So could it be that since you start the game the trainers also start in Black City and if it takes you a while to get there, they leave?

Don't worry, I do take your guys' suggestions into consideration. I am now considering putting Elektross on my team instead of Zebstrika. I'll look into the crying snowflake lol. But yeah, I saw Vanilluxe had good stats.

Elektross does seem like a pain to train. He doesn't learn some strong attacks until way up in the levels (and that's Elektrik or whatever that leans them). Not going so much for competitive battling, but as long as people don't tell me "anything goes in-game" I'm good.
