I'm at the part where Wortortle and Gastly both go down. The teacher is heard, but largely ignored, because this was a middle of a pitched battle...

So, either edit in your character's reaction, or delete the post, please.

Hey quick tip :) when youre imteracting with another person's character try not to make them say something when they didnt. I know it speed up dialouge and it makes posts longer but thats what joint posts are for :) just a heads up

Heya. I've been looking through your posts and their kind of a tad short. I know your character is in a conversation with another one or something along those lines but could you try to make your posts a little bigger? It's not my rules, its the RP forums rules and I don't want GMs going through the thread and cleaning house :)

Yeah, Larvesta is now at level 31 simply from all the battles, Gastly is level 27, and Shellder is level 27 as well.

Well, all of my Pokémon also battled a Raticate that was stronger than they were. And Larvesta simply found a way to boost her Ember's power to terrifying levels and finish off all my battles so far.

What about mine? My Gastly should be evolving soon into something even worse than he is right now. LOL

Sure. What's his reaction to keeping one step behind Adrian's first two Pokémon only to see his Larvesta's immense power?

Pretty much. Adrian heals the Larvesta on the spot (with her only being dazed by the Confuse Ray), and takes the others back to the Pokémon Center.

Alright, so we've got the battle's plot set up. What's your character's reactions and thoughts through each part of the battle? (I need you to tell me about it through each part.)

Right before the Confuse Ray attack hits though, Supernova fires off a very intense Ember attack at the Golbat, burning it badly and knocking it out before it can do anything else.

Alright, so how does it look so far?

Before any attack is seen from Supernova, Fang shoots a Confuse Ray out of desperation.

However, the Shellder gives it very heavy damage with Ice Shard. The Golbat's wing is incredibly beaten up, and so it's grounded.

The now-intense heat along with the nasty hit to the wing leaves Golbat incredibly vulnerable to Supernova, who now slowly moves onto the battlefield. The intense heat is revealed to be a by-product of her Drought ability, which makes her very strong opponent to deal with.

She can fire off a single attack and knock out the Golbat in the first hit if she so desires now, thanks to Shellder's efforts in bringing the Golbat down to the ground (as Larvesta can walk a lot faster than it can).

Alright, so Squirts eventually goes down, and so does Gastly because the Ice Beam's direct hit happens to expose him. After all, a raging Wartortle is going to hit just about anything with a powerful ice attack.

BUT, the poison works VERY fast, and brings him down before he can finish the Gastly off. Gastly gets revenge-KO'd by the Golbat, which finds itself going up against an insane Shellder.

The battlefield is getting very hot right now, so both are going to get worn down fast, so this one will be a short round.

Unfortunately, if you keep guarding from an impending Toxic attack, Gastly will simply poison him eventually, on the way out. Even if it's just the tail, or anything, that Gastly is going to do some damage eventually.

Or, he could alternatively use Taunt, and take advantage of your Wartortle's anger management problems.
