Okay I think Pokemon wouldn't kill off Ash. Too lighthearted? Then again I'm not the most avid follower of the anime. Maybe there's some darker stuff hidden underneath. From what I recall, the dead member in Avatar was Sokka. Don't know why they picked him. I guess they didn't have much else to write for him anymore. Um also when you get the chance I sent an avatar related gift I got on discord. I thought it was neat.

The pass is still too expensive. (yet here i am still using it so that makes me part of the problem). Christmas was nice. So was New Years. I got a tooooon of giftcards. About $70 worth of E-Shop cards. Thinking about buying the Mystery Dungeon Remake. Or waiting until something interesting comes out this year. But I'm also not the greatest at saving my gift cards. I get tempted to spend them.

Ah I can share the sentiment, I had been sick for a week or so now, but it was just the mild sniffles and all that do I thought I was fine. Well, imagine my shock when yesterday the sickness suddenly cranked itself up to 100 and I was left feeling miserable beginning yesterday late evening aaaa. Didn't expect this is how my New Years would go but here we are haha.

I have yet to watch either one of the ones you just mentioned, but it did peak my curiosity so I'll look into them later o: I guess both Princess Tutu & PMMM were very captivating in that I didn't expect they would end up with the ending they got. I started both feeling they were cute and endearing, only for them to spiral into this interesting plot that got me hooked. o:

Apologies for the randomness of the message, I couldn't help but notice that after some snooping in my part that you had watched Princess Tutu. It's not everyday I stumble upon somebody that watched both Princess Tutu and Puella Magi Madoka Magica. I adore both shows plenty, albeit it seems your list makes my own look so small aaa haha

Okay...what does AU ash mean? I tried looking up the term but I find nothing. Oh god this is depressing but imagine if it was a mass time skip and the only thing left of ash is like...a memorial statue or something. Ohhh or what if we see an old version of his pikachu. Okay this is a hilarious thought but what if there's a time skip and everyone else is older, but ash is still 10. Alright now I'm just rambling.

Made any progress with XD? I finished it two times or so over the years. I still like how it looks graphically. GameCube games still look fairly nice. Were you aware the stadium games are coming to expansion pass?

Apparently it's totally confirmed that he won't be returning? I mean, I don't think he'll be totally cast out. I'm sure there will be a cameo or some references. Imagine if it's a huge time skip and suddenly we see adult ash? Like Aang in Legend of Korra. Ohh, or what if they follow Legends and make it in the far past?

Are you playing slow as in exploring a bunch or just minimum sessions? I remember really enjoying it, but it's not a super long game. I wanted to emulate it, but my computer was having difficulty. Oddly, it can run Colosseum.

And yeah it's been a pretty smooth holiday season. Uh...reading more books, playing a rom hack, hobby things. Discovered I love reading (despite not touching a book in like 10 years unless I was forced). There is an illness passing around in my family, hopefully I can duck this but if I come down with sickness then I won't be surprised.

Hey, congrats on finishing! And congrats on the shiny too. I am so close. Arven beat me with his full team of level 60's. I seriously wasn't expecting that. Feels like a champion level fight. So...moving on from him and going to try the last gym. Or maybe the last star base? Whichever I encounter first. I am so slow, but honestly it was just fun getting to play this game.

How did you feel about the last arc of the anime? I wasn't an avid follower, but I did enjoy his team. (Gengar, Dragonite, Lucario, etc). Feels like they really gave him the fan favorites.

Ohh I didn't know you were playing Pokemon XD. Is it your first time playing it? Also curious for which eevee evolution you picked. It's quite a neat starter concept.

Have you gotten any closer in the last few days? I noticed there are hints that guide you into the right areas. If you check the map it'll say stuff like "This team star boss is considered the most frightening" which is an obvious clue to take them on last. I like playing these games blind so I don't care much for the obscure evolutions. I remember in Sun being forced to look up why my Salandit wouldn't evolve. It was because the gender lock.

What would you think about the anime getting a new protagonist that isn't Ash? Considering recent events it doesn't sound like it would be a bad way to conclude his story.

Well, 25 days until the New Year. This year will be over before we know it. Are you planning on playing anything else after you finish up Gen 9?

Congratulations! How near are you towards finishing the dex? I haven't played in a few days. Nearing the end myself. If I go through a long play session I could probably finish it up today. I didn't enjoy the star bases too much, but thought the idea of gym tests was a unique concept. It was really just a form of gym puzzle that had you wander outside the area. Went a bit out of order. I did the water gym before electric.

Yeah, 24 days until Christmas. I like seeing the local houses decorated with lights. I might switch to an electric toothbrush. Is there a real benefit?

Sadly, this has been going on since our dog was 1 year old. Every year we've done the treatment hoping she'll finally be clear of this. It keeps coming back the same and we have to hope again. She hasn't shown the physical signs of illness yet, but apparently if that starts it's too late and she won't be able to heal.

It was nice. My family had a small gathering. Have you started Christmas shopping? They set up christmas in stores very early.

I keep switching Pokemon. The hardest part of new pokemon games for me is sticking with an actual team. So much new stuff I want to use. Also so many old favorites. All the pokemon that have been on my team so far: Quaquaval, Ursaring, Honchcrow, Kilowattrel, Frosslass, Axew, Tinkaton, Camerupt, Houndstone, and Brambleghast. (it's amazing that i can even recall of all this without looking). How far are you as of right now?

Our dog is suffering a heart issue. Sadly, vets are so expensive. Has gone over $1,000 for her treatment. One of my siblings stepped in and helped cover the cost.

I might play the other version eventually. Hoping they make a patch? It would be nice playing these games in a smoother way.

I am legitimately having fun with these Pokemon games. Seeing the new pokemon always gives me a sense of wonder. I didn't keep up with the news or leaks so practically everything has been new.

I am 4 badges in, 3 titans out, and 2 bases finished. Faster than usual but speaks to how much I've liked it so far.

So...dogs are interesting in that those first few months are crucial for the habits they learn for the rest of life. Much like small children. As as puppy, they do go crazy with chewing and it's important to keep stuff out of reach. Again, this typically stops after a few months. Adult dogs are normally calmer, and will even find ways to communicate with you. Our pomeranian would scratch her water bowl when thirsty. Most are also highly intelligent and aware of surroundings. I got 120 stars on Mario 64. I did the same thing for Mario Sunshine. Didn't end up liking Galaxy though. Have you had any experiences of liking one game and not liking another in a series?

Yeah when my mother was a teenager she burned herself lighting fourth of july fireworks. Went right down her stomach. She still has the scars. I haven't seen the leaked starters, but probably picking water no matter what anyways.

Our dog definitely has separation anxiety. Also hey, new pokemon game soon. Apparently the starters evolutions leaked but I haven't seen them yet.

Felt sore all day. That fall I took was not good, but hopefully this feeling will settle down in the morning. Developed red marks on my head.

I like the zelda franchise, so some interest was there. Apparently the HD version can be played with a controller. Will have to see how well it does.

Dogs can be a handful but if being trained well, I think after the first few months of being a puppy they do settle down. Funny how each dog will have it's own quirks. Like, for example ours takes every bit of food downstairs into her kennel. Even if it's something like a mini cracker, she will take that thing all the way down the steps. Also I mentioned that she stashes all her toys in there too. But dogs are also very loving. If one of us leaves the house, our dog will be sitting on the steps or near the window waiting for us to return.

Is the the older art style which you find ugly? Animation has improved so that would be a bigger deal breaker for me. If you've seen Pixar movies, you can see a quality jump there too. Apparently it would take about 400 hours (or 16 straight days) to see all episodes of one piece.

Noticed at the vehicle department and amongst other places they give you a clipboard with a pen to sign your information. It's always chained on the right side. Not a major issue, but these little things crop up all the time. I do like that video games are inclusive. On the Wii, there will usually be an option for left handed motion control. Except on Skyward Sword. They made Link right handed and took out the option. So unfortunately I can't play it properly. They didn't fix it for the HD version either.

Saw a pomeranian so morning looking out a car window. Was so cute and reminded me of our old dog. Well, 17 days until Gen 9. Any new thoughts so far? I hope the games are well received. Noticed quite a bit of unhappiness over the last few generations, and it would be nice if there would be a universally loved title.

Random, but want to go back and watch Legend of Korra now. I think trying to watch a sequel series so quickly was a poor choice, because I ended up tiring immediately. Almost watched one piece then saw 1,000+ episodes.

The ink smearing can happen with pencils too. Although not at the same extent. Most things I use 'incorrectly' and I look clumsy, but it's only because there isn't a proper way for many left handed objects and it means adjusting until I find a comfortable way of holding them. There are stories of parents and teachers forcing children to become right handed. Luckily never happened with me, and both bone fractures had been my right arm. So I was able to keep writing without an issue.

Well it's a little under 3 weeks now. Did you see the new ghost dog Pokemon? Oh, does that mean clothing isn't gender locked? I never liked the lack of customization for male characters. My character on Ultra Sun right now is so bland looking. I play a girl character on animal crossing because the options are so much better too. (but I kept my real name so it gets a little strange).

The snow on the text banner was an accident. I was trying to resize an image into it but the zoomed in snow looked better so I kept it.
