  • So like, are you making an album? And what do you mean by plan to piss people off, how come? with your music, and the lyrics/meaning of it? Or by something more... radical?
And yay for being off probation! I remmember last time we talked you had some health problems, I hope those problems are out of your life now?
Hey! I haven't been here for a while neither to be honest :p I am slowly coming back lol but I haven't played Pokemon, or any games for that matter in a while. So how are you been lately?
Because demographics change? Right now those major cities may be liberal leaning but that isn't set in stone. Populism, environmental factors, media, trends etc etc can all change the political leanings of a generation. For example, the surge in popularity of right wing populist candidates globally. As for Libertarianism... that's just a bad political system (no offense to you). It completely fails to take into account things like basic human nature.

Oh, I don't think all of anywhere's problems will ever be fixed. Perfection is an impossibility. You just need to fix enough of a places problems that it will function as fairly and justly as possible for as many people as possible. That's not completely beyond the realm of possibility in 4-8 years. I will say though, you did just have a good president. I totally disagree with his war-related policies, but Obama was pushing for a lot of positive change in the US. He was just cockblocked at every turn by obstructionist republicans and vilified by the media for no good reason. I don't really know enough about JFK to comment on him.

Probably, but they get payed shitloads already (too much), so it stands to reason most wouldn't risk the large amount of money they already have to give it a slight boost illegally. The vast majority of that tax money, I am pretty certain, does exactly what it's meant to.
What you just described is how democracy is meant to work. If there's more left-leaning people in the population, then of course a more left-leaning candidate should win the election. They'd better represent the wishes of the general population.

    Can't disagree with that.

Well yeah, those people are a problem, but they're a minority (regardless of what the republicans want people to think). The problem with changing welfare to stop the minority is that it can be difficult to stop it harming the majority who need it too.
I'd say that's a hell of a lot less broken than an electoral college system that allows someone into power even without a majority of people wanting them there. Those places lean left because more people living there lean left. Living in a city doesn't automatically make you more liberal than someone rural.

Thought experiment? analogy? You're not too far off there I'd say. We have a long way to go.

It's not as simple as budgeting and being responsible. I've done the right thing all my life and looked after myself, but I got sick and until I'm better I can't work. Not everyone out there asking for welfare is looking to mooch off your taxes, most have legitimate reasons for being on welfare. The system is indeed broken, but not exactly in the way you think it is. It's broken because it fails to help those in need (welfare/healthcare) or punishes unjustly (justice). Also, sometimes it just plain lacks common sense.
I mean, technically the universe is extremely different to how we perceive it... just not at the macro level. So close enough?

Yeah.... I see it the opposite way. Obviously politicians lie (everyone does), but not voting is a refusal to take part in choosing your own future and is more a display of political ignorance than anything since it shows you don't know enough about candidates to make an informed decision about which is better for you.

I'm a globalist so... I think a unified humanity is possible and want it to happen. It won't in our lifetimes but that should be where we end up in the future as the next stage of our society's development. It's just going to be a long and messy road to get there.

The thing about greed, is that it's human nature. We evolved that trait specifically to ensure we had greater reserves of food, more power etc to ensure our and our bloodline's survival. It's in our genes. That's why rather that trying to eradicate greed, we need systems in place to manage it.
I'm a writer, I get inspiration working at random xD

Not going to lie, I don't really agree with any of the mysticism etc you talked about at all. I don't think all of society wants something for nothing either. A lot of the time what people think is wanting something for nothing is just wanting a fair go.

"It's a war in us, not against the enemy like people want to believe, our biggest enemy is ourselves. " I like this though. Human greed and misinformation is the source of a lot of the world's problems.
I mean, you might get to that point if you keep working. It's not going to be even remotely easy to achieve though.
I think it's still pretty nice but some people are just too into it hehe, I mean they put a lot of money in a game they know have a lot of flaws.
Hehe nice, I mean we all need money, that's life...
I am fine, thanks! I can't wait for september. I love autumn and I really want to go back to school hehe
So, do you play Pokemon Go and/or do you folow the actuality on sun and moon?
I know of a guy who did mushrooms and he went suddenly all philosophical and stuff.

    Are there studies on it?
Dont mushrooms make you dream like that tho?

Is it addictive? How is it used to heal (mental or physical)?
