In grade 9 we were allowed two electives I think, then last year in grade 10 I think... 3. Then this year I was allowed 5. Next year in grade 12 I think it's 6.

We don't have to take music if we don't want to, but we have groups of courses we do instead. Like group 1 is a technology mark, so we have to take a computer course, and group 2 could be like health and phys. ed. Group 3 I think has the arts in it, so we could take any music course or drama or something.
