My mom has an irrational fear of all reptiles, honestly, and it's stupid because she's never even owned one. She basically judges them off of their looks, which I can understand because some/most reptiles can look intimidating, but I find them to be cute. :3 She also doesn't like big dogs because they're "big". It's all so stupid really lololol.

Don't get me wrong, I love my dogs, but dogs/cats/birds/hamsters/etc. aren't the only good household pets out there (not directly speaking to you :p)... but gahhh. The bad part is that it's probably going to be a few years till I actually get my own place. -.- I need to pretty much finish college first and then get a job, etc etc. >.<

& that's adorable! Maybe he finds your friend to be a stranger, and therefore a possible threat lol. You make me so much more anxious and excited! xD

I just hate how most of society seems to think that only domestic animals (like dogs, cats, birds, whatever else) make good pets. That, and they also think that most reptiles are dangerous and carry disease. ughhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh. Uneducated lol.

I have two dogs as well, but they're small and probably don't look really intimidating. Apart from my parents not wanting any reptiles, my dogs are also the reason why I'm kinda holding back, just because I don't want to stress the lizard out. But anyways, that's super coooooool. I've been doing a lot of research on them so I have a pretty good idea about what I need to take care of one if I ever do get one. Now I just have to wait >.< :[. I mean, I could get one right now if I wanted, but I probably wouldn't make my parents too happy.. :\

& yeah, I heard they need a greater vegetable to insect ratio as babies, but as adults, they eat more veggies. Aww, he's so cute. :] You're blessed! How old is he? The only type of insect I wouldn't be willing to give mine are roaches because I have a roach phobia, surprisingly, haha, but I don't mind any other insects really lol. xD

That's soooooo awesome! My parents don't really like reptiles, so I'm holding off on getting one till I live on my own. @_@ :[ *cries*

All lizards are cool, really. I have a thing for reptiles. I love them more than your typical domestic pet lol. Out of all reptiles, though, I really love lizards. They're all pretty cool, but I heard beardies were the most gentile and friendly out of them all (and the best for beginners, too, although one can argue that with leos).
