  • I need to go back to job searching. I want to go to freaking Bannaroo but I don't have a ton of money, getting a job would help a lot right now,

Damn you really do post a lot haha I never post there. I used to but now Twitter is my site for posting random stuff. Hell, let's add our twitter while we're at it.

You could make the most of it. When I got nothing to do I play Xbox and chat here; it's not quite talking to people in real life but it's still socializing (without the actually having social skills though).

I went to two of my friends parties. Didn't feel like drinking the first time but ended up getting a little drunk, and the second party was last night and it was awesome. I forgot how good it felt to be drunk, like can't stop talking and can't walk a straight line drunk.
Might as well. The earliest most of them could hire you would be in the summer though. Did you mention earlier trying to find them online? If so there's bound to be a store or two that's hiring. That's what I should be doing myself.

Sweet! I don't post much haha but when I leave I might drop by a message there. Feel free to message me there as well, since I'm always up for a conversation.

    So how's your week been?
    Good luck finding one. If it's like here most of the places probably aren't hiring until the summer. I'm still jobless and even the places that I frequent aren't hiring. ;;

I'm fine with that. I'm Kevin, I'm wearing football pads with a friend and I got Borey as a mutual friend as well.
Pst, hell? I use that in my rhetoric all the time, no worries!

And gosh. Find me. We'll have fun. :3
I thought Hot Topic was just an online store haha we don't have one where I live. I don't want to work in a place with a strict dress code either, but I won't mind it either. At this point I just want to earn an income.

Take it from someone who was also scared to drive: it's not that bad. Not even highway driving is that bad. As long as you know what's around you you're fine. I didn't get my license until I turned 17 because I didn't want to read the booklet and I was nervous, but now I drive all the time. I would drive even more too if it wasn't for freaking gas prices.

By the way, you got a facebook? Would like to keep in contact even after we both grow out of this place.
I can handle working in a fast food place, but I refuse to work at Wal-Mart. People there are so scuzzy I just don't feel comfortable there.

You can't drive?! Man this is harder than I thought.... at least you got a bus. Do your parents drive you or do you use their car? I got a car so I never have to worry about that, I really don't know what you can do about that besides obviously getting a car.

It was pretty big from what I heard. Considering I live in Tennessee and I know about it I'm surprised you didn't maybe you need to be outside more

Speaking of snow, it's snowed more this month than it has all year. Freaking Tennessee weather
My parents have tried making me join some stores that I'm not interested in. Honestly the only places I would love to work in are Gamestop, any sports store out here, and the store that I'm trying to get a job at.

I'm still surprised given that you live in New Jersey. Wasn't there like a huge snowstorm that hit New York? Then again you might live in the side near Philadelphia, but I thought it was a pretty big storm, big enough to affect even Jersey.
I have bad luck with it too. Honestly, the store that I'm really interested in, I wouldn't have much of a chance if I didn't know some of the people who work there; I know at least half and at one point all the people working there were those that I've chatted with a lot.

In today's society you pretty much have to know people to get anywhere. :/

I honestly thought there would be more snow as the years went by, it just seemed like more and more snow was falling each year and it peaked in 2009, but since then it's been snowing less and less.
What I do is go to the stores nearby and ask for an application. You don't live in the middle of nowhere, right? If there are stores nearby ask for applications. Granted you won't know for sure if they're hiring or not, but at least when they do start hiring your name could be brought up and you'll get a job and you'll thank me later too

Surprising considering you live in New Jersey. The snow here is practically nonexistent, but it snowed pretty good here a few years ago. I remember being out for a week because of a snowstorm, and we had to have school extended to make up for it. We started class 15 minutes earlier and ended them 15 minutes later, and the 9weeks was more like 12 because that was how many weeks of school we lost from snow.
New challenge: Job search before you reply to this

Other than lack of job, college, or apparent social life, how is your day? :D
My day consisted of eating, working out, and eating. Didn't even have school because it snowed like 1 cm in some parts. Best part of living in Tennessee is that that's enough for school to get closed. :D
I got a friend that I've known since Kindergarten and we literally have nothing in common, yet I still find ways to talk to him. :P Find other people around New Jersey or something. Seeing as how you don't have a job or even go to college you should probably get a job/find a college before doing that.

Get to it! Something has got to drive you to do so. Hell, search for a job before responding to this: that is my challenge for you!
